Steve and family invite you to stay in our spacious Victorian North London home. We offer guests a comfortable, peaceful bedroom with king-size bed and treelined views of the Parkland Walk, along with your own modern bathroom and access to the kitchen. You can also enjoy the use of a private living room for an additional fee. We are close to vibrant Crouch End, Stroud Green and Finsbury Park with rapid transport links to the city and central London. The space The guest bedroom and dedicated luxury bathroom with walk in shower, sink and toilet are on the first floor, separate to the family accommodation floors. The bedroom looks out onto beautiful views across the garden to the trees of the Parkland Walk, and you’re likely to wake up to the sound of birdsong. We can provide an additional bed (comfortable camp bed) for children/teenagers. You are welcome to use our kitchen for tea/coffee/light meals and our garden which has a dinning table and a decking area. The guest living room is on the ground floor adjacent to the kitchen with views of the garden. If you wish to book the living room, please add an additional guest in your booking. Do message me if you have any queries about this. The Parkland Walk - North’s London’s answer to the New York Skyline - is a bit of local gem and backs onto the property, with access close by. It takes you to the large green spaces and playgrounds of Finsbury Park or in the other direction towards Highgate Wood and Hampstead. It’s quite a treat to be sounded by nature in the heart of London - guests enjoy returning to our serene haven after the bustle of the city. Although we have no pets, we welcome well behaved dogs. Locally you are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants, pubs, cinemas and theatre all within easy walking distance. At the end of the road, we have a well-stocked mini market and popular neighbourhood bistro. There are several rapid easy links to Central London and the City nearby: Finsbury Park station (a 15 min walk/short bus ride) to Kings Cross station is 5 mins, Oxford Circus 10 mins, Old Street 12 mins . Also close by are Haringey and Crouch Hill overground stations, with fast links to the City, Hampstead Heath and beyond. Both myself and my partner Amelia work in the creative industries, we are well travelled and speak English, French, Spanish and Scottish (!) Our 2 children Anouk and Frank are in high school.
