The space Each morning, enjoy complimentary coffee available in the lodge as you enjoy the unique ambiance of our Western-style lodge, located conveniently close to the pool. Whether you're unwinding after a day of adventure or simply enjoying a quiet moment, our lodge rooms offer a peaceful retreat that feels just like home. Please note that the room does not have air conditioning, which is common in this area. We are located at a high elevation in the mountains, where summers are typically mild. The heat in the room is provided by a wall-mounted propane heater, which may not be suitable for young children. Ranch Amenities are shared with other guests of the ranch: -Hot Spring Pool & Hot Tubs: Relax in a hot spring-fed swimming pool and two outdoor hot tubs. -Sports Courts & Cornhole: Stay active with our multi-use sports courts featuring basketball hoops, tennis, and pickleball. For a laid-back activity, enjoy a friendly game of cornhole or horseshoes with family or friends. -Chalk Cliffs: Explore the historic Chalk Cliffs, known for their unique chalky texture and breathtaking views. Trail access is available on the property. Location: Conveniently located in Nathrop, CO, between Buena Vista (20 minutes away) and Salida (30 minutes away), our cabin is the perfect base for exploring the area. Enjoy nearby outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and skiing. Explore the nearby trails of Mount Princeton, one of Colorado’s iconic 14ers, just minutes from your doorstep. Wi-Fi: Stay connected - Wifi is available in the lodge. Winter Access: During late fall, winter, and early spring, a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is required to access the lodge in the event of snow or icy conditions. Accessibility: Please note that stairs are required to access the lodge. This room is on the second floor. Pool & Hot Tub: Hours are 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, except for Mondays. The pool will close at 7:00 PM for cleaning. Our pool and hot tubs are open year-round. Hot tubs may operate on a rotating schedule, with one occasionally closed for maintenance and cleaning. The pool and hot tubs are shared with other guests on the property. Like other hot springs in the area, we treat our geothermal-fed pool and hot tubs to maintain cleanliness and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests. The pool and hot tubs may be covered to preserve the temperature. Guests will be responsible for uncovering and recovering the pool. Check-In: Upon arrival, please follow the signs directing you to the office. Our office hours vary depending on the season and occupancy. If the office is unstaffed when you arrive, a check-in packet with all the information you’ll need will be waiting for you on a magnetic board. Guest access Guests have access to all ranch amenities, including the geothermal-fed pool and hot tubs, multi-use sports court, cornhole, horseshoes, communal fire pit, and hiking trails. Please note: Some amenities, like cornhole and sports equipment, are not available in the offseason due to snow and inclement weather. Other things to note Please note that the property you are booking is located at Deer Valley Hot Springs, a ranch offering multiple vacation rentals and a lodge. As such, other guests may be present on the property, and certain amenities, including the pool, hot tubs, sports court, and trails, are shared. Ranch Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 Quiet hours are strictly enforced to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
