Forest Glades Cabin

Forest Glades is a hidden gem in the picturesque countryside, conveniently located 20 minutes from Knysna. The off-grid cottage is the perfect hideaway to relax and unwind. It caters for couples wanting a romantic getaway, nature lovers, and families wanting a soul cleansing, unique escape into nature.  We are only 25 minutes from beautiful beaches, day hikes and picnic spots in the National forest. Pets are welcome. The space The cottage is privately positioned, comfortable and spacious. There is a well equipped kitchen, a lounge with a smart TV, two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower.  There is a private elevated deck with a braai facility and very comfortable outdoor furniture.  The deck overlooks the glade and forest, here you can relax and unwind to the sound of birdsong. We are completely off-grid and rely on the rain for water, and the sun for electricity. This means that there will be no loadshedding during your stay. There is a lovely forest walking trail that guests can explore. We are situated in a conservancy and are privileged to have free roaming wildlife. There is a large variety of birdlife including the Knysna Lourie and fish eagles. It's a bird watchers paradise so don't forget your binoculars.
