Spacious renovated ground floor 2 bedroom apartment sleeping 4 in singles or doubles in an old barn in a quiet residential area at the edge of the village. Simple, modern, minimalist chalet style with lots of wood and traditional touches. Great as a base for hiking in the local area or simply enjoying the mountains. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the village of Château-d'Oex with its train station, large supermarket and services. The space Ground floor south-facing apartment with private entrance. Open plan kitchen/ living room that opens onto a private patio with views over the valley and surrounding mountains. The apartment has 1 double/ twin bedroom and 1 with 3 beds and a fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances and a large fridge freezer. Cot and highchair available on request.There's a practical entryway for boots and coats and underfloor heating throughout. Guest access Your apartment is in a building with other residents but you have a private ground floor entrance and patio so no spaces are shared. We try to organise access for apartment guests to the spa area in a neighbouring chalet but this can't be guaranteed. Let me know when you arrive if you'd like to try and organise this! Other things to note The beds will be made according to the number of guests in the reservation. One bath and hand towel per person are provided. Tea towels, basic dishwashing supplies, hand soap, bin bags, dishwasher tabs cling film/ foil, kitchen paper and some toilet rolls will be in the apartment on arrival. A travel cot and highchair can be put in the apartment if needed - let me know when you reserve.
