The landscape here is a canvas of wildflowers (when in season), creating a beautiful backdrop for your stay. Take some time to unwind in a hammock or enjoy the views from the large covered porch, where you can share meals outdoors. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit for warm evenings under the stars, sharing stories and toasting marshmallows. In winter, while the flowers and hammocks are resting, the snowy scenery is filled with the peaceful presence of local wildlife. Inside the Carriage House, you’ll find a spacious upstairs living room, perfect for everyone to gather and create memories. Our kitchen is fully equipped, so you can whip up meals just the way you like. You'll find a coffee bar to keep you going on your adventures, and the large bedrooms provide plenty of comfort for a restful night. We keep families in mind too! With kid-friendly amenities like a crib, pack-n-play, feeding chair, and plenty of toys and books, we strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. And don’t worry—your pets are welcome here, because they’re part of the family! Leashed pets can enjoy the outdoors, and we’ve got crates, pet beds, and bowls ready for them. Just keep them away from our fenced areas and the working farm dogs. We're conveniently located just about an hour from Chicago and 30 minutes from O'Hare Airport, off I-90 , 5 min from NOW arena, 20 minutes from Allstate arena and surrounded by several small suburban cities with great food and activities. This home sits on a secluded corner of our farmstead with three houses. Please do not enter into the areas around the other private residences, or the other private outbuildings or barn on the property. You may walk anywhere on and around the many acres of land behind the white picket fence.
