Description
Charming farmhouse, with beautiful views, prepared for contemplation and rest. This little piece of heaven was acquired and built to receive our family in moments of leisure, and now we want to share this experience with you. It is located in a valley framed by a beautiful stone wall (which gives the property its name) through which a delicate waterfall runs. Surrounded by vegetation and many birds that at dawn brighten the awakening, not to mention the crowing of roosters. The space In front of the farm is a road widely used by cyclists and contemplators. This path invites long walks that, for the strongest, can reach the chapel at the top of the mountain range. It's really worth it! The rustic cabin on the property was built by the former owners with wood from the demolition of a sawmill. Renovated, made habitable by the current owners. The farm has a pond full of fish (depending on the season, upon request, fishing may be an option). A hen house with many D'Angola hens, Garnisé hens and roosters that circulate freely around the property. Feeding the birds and fish, collecting the eggs is part of the experience. There is also a meliponary around the hut with several hives of stingless bees, where the comings and goings of the bees can be appreciated. The farm contains several fruit plants (guava, fig, acerola, ciriguela, orange, tangerine, lemon, pear, araza, grumichama, anona, pitanga, and peach, depending on the season the fruits can be enjoyed. In a protected and safe location, separated by a preservation area, we have an apiary. Location of the beehives of the genus Apis mellifera (bees with stings). Depending on availability, upon request, honey can be purchased by guests. With prior scheduling, upon request, the guest can participate in the opening of a hive and acquire honeycomb (we have protective equipment). Next to the cabin is a space for making bonfires, an excellent place to see the stars and have pleasant conversations. The entire area around the cabin is paved with cyclopean stones. The orchard and around the lake is grassy, which allows you to walk safely. At night, there are reflectors that illuminate the area around the cabin. The stay allows you to have exclusive use of the entire farm area, with the exception of the apiary (for safety reasons), and to enjoy a pleasant stay. Guest access When staying at the farm, the guest has free access to the entire property, except for the apiary, for safety reasons. The farm is for the exclusive use of the guest. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Do not approach the apiary, the bees are defensive, and you will be in danger! Visiting the apiary and activities related to beekeeping may be done with the presence of the beekeeper and appropriate protective equipment (upon prior consultation). Activities such as fishing in the pond and honey collection depend on the time of year and are not included in the package. If you are interested, prior consultation is required. The collection of eggs, fruits and vegetables is allowed only for on-site consumption. The water in the pond is suitable for bathing, coming straight from the Mountain. The birds circulate freely around the farm, hence the importance of keeping the gates closed. Remember that you will be responsible for the animals. It is not allowed to open the hives of stingless bees. If your Pet is included in the package, please inform us if it does not get along well with birds. If necessary, ask the host to keep the birds in the hen house. Sharing the bed intended for humans with the pet is not allowed. As it is an Atlantic forest region, mosquitoes are present. We recommend using repellent and, if allergic, bringing appropriate medication. The property has beautiful stones used for sitting and contemplating. But BE CAREFUL, if wet, they are slippery.
