Our converted self contained one bedroom cottage in the heart of the Ashdown Forest within easy walking distance to the famous Winnie The Pooh Bridge plus two delightful old country pubs. We are only a short distance from the historic Hever castle home of Anne Boleyn, many National trust properties, Sheffield park and gardens and Standen House. The Bluebell steam railway and historic market town of East Grinstead and Tunbridge wells are a short distance away. Gatwick airport 12mi The space Our converted stable cottage is a beautiful, calm, quiet and spacious self-contained Cottage, with a bathroom downstairs which has a bath with shower. There is a cosy comfortable lounge and a rustic well equipped kitchen diner with a vaulted ceiling. The stairs lead to the cosy comfortable bedroom with a wardrobe and plenty of drawer space and a separate vanity sink. Outside you have designated parking for one vehicle, either, a car or small van… Our driveway is quite narrow and cannot accommodate larger vehicles, i.e. long, wheelbase, vans or motorhomes. You will also have use of a private garden with its own decked area with garden furniture.. Guest access You have the entire cottage to yourself for your own use, with its own front door. You will access our shared driveway through a pair of black wrought iron gates. Your parking space will be on the left in front of the five bar gate, if you walk through the gate, this will be your private garden area and the cottage will be behind you. Other things to note We have 2 nosey Chickens! ... 2 Cats "they are pretty shy" but lovely .... and a very friendly Vizsla dog, if he's allowed he will definitely want to say hello and then he will leave you alone. ... unless you make a fuss of him !!
