Inside the Home 🛋 Living Room – This cozy yet sleek space is both inviting and visually pleasing. Take a moment to explore our historic Kalamazoo collection, offering a glimpse into the city's past. Look out the large picture window and you might catch a deer or turkey wandering into the woods. 🍽 Kitchen – Spacious and recently updated, featuring brand-new stainless steel appliances to make meal prep a breeze. 🛏 Bedrooms – Choose between two comfortable queen bedrooms, each with large closets for all your belongings. 📺 Basement Retreat – Step downstairs to find a washer and dryer nook, followed by an additional cozy living space with a 50” TV, perfect for movie nights. 🔥 Outdoor Space – Enjoy a peaceful evening at the rocky firepit area, located near the beautiful wooded hill—the perfect spot for roasting s’mores and making memories. 🌿 Hilltop Hideaway is your perfect escape, offering a mix of modern comfort, nature, and local charm! * Basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and garbage bags are also provided to get you started with your stay. Guest access Welcome to Our Home! 🏡✨ Our home is your home while you stay at Hill Top Hideaway—a cozy retreat designed for relaxation and adventure. ✔ Full Home Access – Guests have access to the entire home, except for one locked interior closet and the detached lower garage. Other things to note Check-In Instructions 🏡🔑 You will receive an automated email from us at 2 PM on the day of check-in with your unique door code for entry. Please check your email for this information before arrival. Trash & Recycling 🗑️♻️ Trash and recycling are collected Thursday mornings. For your convenience, we may stop by to move the curbside containers to the road, ensuring you remain undisturbed during your stay. Pets 🐾 Your home away from home is even better with your best fur-friend! Dogs (up to two) are welcome with an additional fee. To maintain a comfortable stay for all guests, all pets must be reported at the time of booking. No additional or unexpected pets are allowed. Guests are responsible for waste cleanup. Firepit 🔥 For safety, never leave an open fire unattended. Ensure all flames are fully extinguished before leaving the area or retiring for the night. Events & Gatherings 🚫 Parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited. Only registered guests are allowed on the property. EV Charging ⚡🚗 We do not allow EV charging on the property, as we are not currently equipped to safely provide this service. The nearest charging station is 0.7 miles away on W Main St. Unauthorized EV charging is subject to a $1,000 fee. ✔ Lawn Care – The grass is mowed weekly to keep the yard well-maintained. ✔ Snow Removal – Snow will be cleared when accumulation reaches 2 inches to ensure safe access to the property.
