Welcome to The Blue Sky Home where a modern vibe meet Southern charm and we are dog friendly too! Just two and a half blocks away from the historic Sunrise Theater that begins your journey into downtown Southern Pines and a 6-minute drive to Pinehurst and Aberdeen. The space 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. As a new host transitioning my actual home to a full-time AirBnB listing, I'm committed to ensuring you have an amazing stay! Whether guests gather around the fireplace, the large kitchen island in the fully equipped kitchen, or on the back deck, there is plenty of room for all! The Blue Sky Home features an open-concept living room with high ceilings and wonderful natural light. There are large windows in the front of the house that look out onto the front porch and it is a wonderful place to curl up with a good book or conversation with friends while you enjoy the day inside or out. There is the cabinet for board and card games and a selection of guides for exploring all of Moore County whether you are here for festivals and fun for kids during the summer, rounds of golf and exploring horse country, or a lovely Southern respite to dine and shop. You will find everything you are looking for in Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and the up-and-coming downtown Aberdeen! We have a kitchen made for gathering. It is complete with a gas oven and an open island for preparing a feast with bar seating for two. The kitchen is filled with everything you will need to make a wonderful meal including a cabinet for outdoor picnicware for barbecues outside by the fire pit. To the side of the kitchen is a high table with seating for four. Through the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer that features hypoallergenic laundry detergent and reusable dryer balls. The door that leads to the outside back deck has an installed doggie door for small to medium dogs (up to 20 lbs). There is a wonderful outdoor space that is fenced in with a fire pit that has seating for eight. On the deck, there is a lovely bistro set to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or tea. There is a charcoal barbecue grill and the grilling supplies are stored in the laundry room. Please be advised that whenever you are outside in the backyard the fenced-in yard may not be secure enough for some dogs. Please never leave your pet unattended outside when you are not home.
