The Eagles Nest @ Kirwyn Farm

Kirwyn Farm is 10min from Mudgee CBD and nestled within a reputable food and wine region. The Eagles Nest Caravan is 600 meters above sea level, with the most amazing views. Relax and watch the wildlife wander past the caravan whilst you sit on the deck or relax in the plunge pool. Phone service is available up at the cabin for Optus and Telstra but limited. The caravan runs off solar and batteries and is a 12volt system. Power point appliances do not work. Phones can be charged via USB. The space Guests will have access to a fully equipped off grid accommodation consisting of a caravan with kitchen and bathroom, BBQ, Deck area with amazing views and plunge pool surrounded by gardens and native landscape. A buggy will be provided for guests to transport themselves to and from the accommodation. If you are over the legal limit to drive you must not use the buggy and walk up to the accommodation or let the hosts know and we will transport you up the hill. The site is "off-grid" which means it is very similar to camping and has its own solar and battery system, water and waste system which are not connected to the main infrastructure grid like a normal home. There is a backup generator for limited use if appliances such as hair dryers or the microwave would like to be used. The generator is not able to run the air conditioner for the whole duration of a booking. Each booking will be provided with 20L of fuel for the generator. If additional fuel is required it will be an additional fee of $80. Guest access All guests will be required a sign an activity waiver and release prior to their stay as the accommodation is in a unique location that is on a steep incline, Guests will need sturdy enclosed shoes and must be physically able to get themselves up and down the incline in the event of an emergency.
