The Old Stables, Thornham Magna

The Old Stables is located in the small village of Thornham Magna just over half a mile from the Norwich Road (A140). The village comprises a Church, Village hall and a local pub. The pub, called The Four Horseshoes, is less than a 5 minute walk from the property, serves food all day and lays on a great Sunday roast. The local area is popular with walkers and cyclists and those who just want a bit of peace and quiet. The property itself is all on one level. The space The Old Stables, as the name suggests is a converted Stable Block. It now comprises a Kitchen, Sitting Room, Bathroom and two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed while the second has two singles. The Old Stables has a private courtyard and faces 2 former paddocks which have been rewilded. The property is very cosy with central heating and has a small wood-burner. There is a TV with Freeview plus a good selection of DVD/BD. Wireless internet is available. (80MBs Down/20MBs Up). The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, air-fryer combo oven, fridge with ice-box and a dish-washer. A washing machine/dryer. The bathroom has a bath with integral shower. Guest access Guests have access to private court-yard with outdoor table and chairs on the decking, an off-road parking space and are welcome to use/explore the two rewilded paddocks to the rear of the property. These both have pathways winding through the various fauna. In early May the paddocks are blue with the forget-me-not's and in June-July the primary colour is Yellow from the Butter-cups, St John's Wort and Agrimony. The deer, mainly Muntjac's. just let themselves in and out by jumping through the gaps in the fencing.
