Room 1, Victorian Home to Enjoy

Welcome short term guests. Please make sure you tell me about yourself and your plans during your visit when you first reach out to me so I can respond to your request to stay in our home. We are the true Airbnb experience where you are welcomed into a locals home to enjoy the neighborhood and visit the bigger city. You will have your own bedroom and share a bathroom but are welcome to enjoy the house. We love having visitor and engage with you as much or as little as you like. :-) The space Come and stay with our family in our 120 year old Victorian home only 35 minutes from downtown NYC. It is a 4 min walk to the B/Q train station. The bedroom has 1 queen size bed and is found on the top floor of the house. (3rd floor) There is a shared bathroom on that level. All rooms are well decorated and attractive. The room will have fresh sheets and towels for you. There is a window AC unit in each room when summer arrives and a space heater in the winter. There is no TV in the bedroom however we do have good Wi-Fi for your personal equipment. Enjoy using the front porch, parlor, living room, and kitchen on the main floor. Please come and experience our wonderful and diverse neighborhood. You are close to Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Coney Island, Brooklyn Museum and NYC Aquarium to mention a few attractions. That is not even considering all NYC has to offer. We have a lovely family home. Come and have fun and enjoy. Feel free to use the kitchen. There is a guest fridge for your use. The kitchen is labeled and is fully equipped with all your cooking needs. We would love to welcome you to Brooklyn and share our love of our Victorian home. Guest access Guests have access to the porch, living room, front parlor, kitchen, backyard (when cleaned up from winter) bathrooms and their bedroom. During your stay I will try my best to help you while you are in NYC. Thank goodness for the internet. Please feel free to ask questions in person or text or call me. Other things to note We have a 3 year old dog named Ash. We just love her. She is a short hair Australian Cattle Dog and a Collie mix.
