The space The perfect little Lake George cottage for your home away from home! The cottage is nostalgic but updated throughout and new furnishings include new appliances, custom cabinetry, Norwegian Stressless living room furnishings, Danish Rais gas stove to keep you cozy in winter, and Helix Midnight Luxe mattresses to ensure a great night's sleep. Also to ensure your best canine friend's comfort and enjoyment, a feeding station, crate, and toys! The light & bright feeling welcomes those amazing views of Lake George and Diamond Island, and the private sandy beach is second to none. Parking for up to 2 vehicles. PARKING: There is parking for 1 car at the cottage. Parking for a 2nd vehicle is available-please inquire for details. Also please keep in mind that the gated and paved driveway to the cottage is sloped therefore winter visits should be made with a AWD or 4WD vehicle to avoid access issues. BEDROOMS: Bedroom areas are located on the 2nd floor of the cottage. Each include new beds and bedding, along with window shades on each window. Each area is equipped with side tables, and bedside clocks with USB plug-ins for device charging. Fans are also available in each bedroom. The master King bedroom has a luggage bench and rack for handling your bag during your stay, as well as a hanging rod and cabinetry for your clothing. The master also has it’s own 40” wall TV. The open loft serves as the 2nd bedroom/sleeping area with 2 twin beds, and has luggage racks for handling bags, as well as a closet for your clothing. The loft also features a Lenova reading chair that holds a fold-out twin bed. As with most fold-outs, this bed is suited for a child as an adult would not find this comfortable. TV & WIFI: The cottage has Spectrum high speed internet to easily handle your streaming or remote work needs. Stream your favorite shows or movies on the Samsung Smart TVs. AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING: A centrally located mini-split heat pump keeps guest comfortable with air conditioning in the summer months, and heating in the cooler seasons. The Rais gas stove provides supplemental heating in the winter and a cozy ambiance. The stove is of course HOT to the touch so guests traveling with small children should consider this. DINING, COOKING, & PANTRY ITEMS: The cottage's kitchen is fully stocked with all the dining and cooking items needed to prepare meals for your group, as well as a French Press coffee maker, and coffee. We provide basic pantry items including: sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, mayo, basic spices, and seasonings. Sponges, paper towels, napkins, dish/dishwasher soaps are included, as are shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soaps, laundry detergent, and bath linens. A Weber gas grill is also provided for outdoor grilling. DOGS: One (1) well-mannered, house-trained dog is welcome at the cottage! No puppies please. We have a dog crate, dog feeding station, toy basket, and towel. Please note the following if traveling with your dog: Please no dogs that bark constantly. We understand all dogs bark at times, but please take steps to ensure your dogs needs are met so that he or she can settle in. Please no dogs on the new furniture or bedding. Please keep your dog leashed when outside. "Potty" breaks can occur in the wooded area between the cottage and Lake Shore Drive. Please clean up after your pet if using the lawn areas for potty breaks. Please keep pets within the cottage’s prescribed usage areas and walkways. Guest access The property the cottage is located on is gated. You'll enjoy access to the private beach by walking down the path along the northern property line (path is approx. 550 feet in length and is a gradual decline on the way down, and incline on the way back up), and continuing to the 4 white chairs on the beach. Our kayaks are in our kayak rack and available for guest use/risk-1 double and 2 singles. Life jackets and towels are located in the laundry area of the cottage. Also available for guest use is a beach cart for hauling a cooler, etc. The property beyond the treeline to the north is privately owned cottages in an association. The property south of the cottage beach walkway is a private residence. Please do not enter or cross lots to other properties in any way, and keep children and pets within the cottage’s prescribed walkway/usage areas as well.
