The Love Lodge – Retro Chalet Near Bromley

Bring the whole family to this mid-century retro ski home, conveniently located under 5 minutes from Bromley Mountain, 8 minutes from Magic, and 20 minutes from Stratton. With over 3 cleared acres and 3 wooded, there is plenty of space for Winter activities as well as solitude for a peaceful weekend away. The space Downstairs Walk in and drop your coat and boots in the mud room, and then be warmly greeted by a mid-century themed wood-paneled living space with comfortable seating and a smart TV. Down the hall, you'll find a bedroom (2 fulls) with a dresser and closet, and a retro bathroom (with tub/shower). Main floor Features 1 master bedroom (1 king) with projector and screen, a matching retro bathroom (with tub/shower), a kitchen fully stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, and bright living space with floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed beams. Upstairs Features 1 bedroom with 4 twin beds and bathroom (with tub/shower). Several books and board games are accessible and available for use. Parking Garage is a bit far from the house and not included in the listing, but you may park outside of it at BOTTOM of hill if you wish. There is enough room to comfortably fit 4 cars in main driveway. Other Things to Note: In addition to numerous ski mountains just a short drive away, there are many things to do in the area. The home is just 5 minutes from Londonderry Village where you’ll find a grocery store, beautiful farmers market in the Summer months, and various eateries. It is also 4 min from Johnny Seesaw's Restaurant and Bromley Market (in the opposite direction) and 15 minutes from downtown Manchester. - Primary renter must be at least 28 years of age. - Dogs are allowed, but please keep them off furniture. There are 2 dog beds (1 small & 1 large) as well as a crate available for use. - There is (1) Pack n' Play in the downstairs bedroom closet available for use. The clock in the master bedroom can be used as a sound machine (directions in welcome binder). - This house is located on a hilly dirt road. During the winter season, you can expect foggy conditions, icy roads, and occasional snowstorms. An All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicle is required to book this property. Please exercise extra caution when driving and ensure your vehicle is adequately prepared for snowy conditions. A company is contracted to plow road and driveway during storms. - Please be aware that inclement weather may lead to power outages or internet disruptions. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as power or internet loss. -We are unable to make any exceptions from our cancellation policy. We recommend that you explore traveler's insurance as a means to safeguard your travel plans. -The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to a limited amount, as specified in your rental contract, for Property damage (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. -The downstairs fireplace and both main floor & downstairs wood stoves are NOT to be used, as they are not in working order. The main floor fireplace insert MAY be used heat, but the house is heated with oil for your convenience (operated by thermostats outside master bedroom and in downstairs hallway). Please do not set thermostat higher than 66 degrees Fahrenheit. Guest access You will have access to 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 living spaces. Second building & garage on property are not included in listing. Other things to note This property is our primary residence, so it is only available to book when we have vacations planned/have adequate time to book alternative accommodations. **IF DATES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR YOUR DESIRED GETAWAY, PLEASE REACH OUT!! With enough notice, we can make arrangements so that you can stay here.** It is required that you let us know if you are bringing pet(s) with you. If you fail to adhere to this policy, a fee of $100 per animal per night will be charged. We recently purchased this little slice of heaven and are doing our best to preserve its mid-century retro authenticity while we make updates.
