Winter/Ice Fishing Lake House

Come relax with your family and friends at this peaceful house on the lake! It is located on the water with a deck overlooking the full rec lake, a lower deck to enjoy your morning coffee, and a private dock for easy fishing and swimming. You have privacy from neighbors and a cozy fire pit/grill area from the walk out lower level. The property is located near Green Lake and Ripon offering a variety of dining and entertainment options to fill your stay with memories! The space The house is situated on Little Green Lake with a short staircase to access the water and an outdoor space for campfires and cookouts. Lifejackets and two kayaks are provided for use during your stay. The dock has space to dock your boat and the lake does have multiple boat launches. The house has two levels, the main level and a lower level. Both levels require stair access so it is not recommended for anyone with accessibility needs. The main level has an open floor plan with access to the deck overlooking the lake. The lower level has an additional living room, dining table, and bathroom along with a set of bunk beds for more sleeping options. Games are available on a bookshelf along with two arcade games. There are also two more bedrooms downstairs and a walkout door with access to the fire pit area. The house does have a washer and dryer for laundry needs in the utility room on the lower level as well as a dishwasher in the kitchen for added convenience. Guest access Guests are able to access the entire property, with the exception of a closet and shed. The boat and boat lift are also not for guest use. Other things to note ACTIVITIES In the summer months, you are able to sit around the fire and grill out, enjoy the lake with provided kayaks, swim and fish off of the dock, and play yard games outside. Little Green Lake is a popular musky fishing location. In the winter months, you are able to cuddle up with a book, ice fish on the lake, or enjoy a warm fire outside. PARKING The house does have a steep driveway that requires caution in the winter months with paved parking at the bottom for four vehicles. There are two additional parking spots at the top of the driveway. Extreme weather may cause the property to be inaccessible and would require rescheduling your stay. If needed during your stay, there is a snow removal service available - please reach out if so. The house is placed on a hillside requiring stairs for lake access. There is a gate that can be latched at the top of the stairs for safety. A wired fenced is placed at the top of the hillside for added safety. NECESSITIES Although the house is located in a private setting, there is a grocery and convenience store only 6 minutes away. Additionally, there are multiple local restaurants that provide great options for a Friday fish fry and adult beverages. DINING/ENTERTAINMENT The house is located about 15-20 minutes away from Ripon, Green Lake, and Princeton. These locations host a variety of incredible restaurants and entertainment options including Lawsonia golf course and Elan Brio spa.
