Our 4* cottage is ideally located for visiting the Futuroscope Park. A few minutes from the highway, Poitiers train station, airport, you will be close to everything. A shopping area with shops and restaurants is also minutes away. This house with authentic charm will seduce you with its 6000 m² park surrounded by high walls and overlooking the river. Inside, the stone, floors and fireplaces will bring you into the history of this 18th century house. The space After arriving by road (highway 5 minutes from the cottage), train or plane (10 minutes from the cottage), you can enjoy moments that we hope will be unforgettable: our LE REPAIRE cottage was designed for this. Let's start at the beginning: when the gate opens, you will discover our 18th century stone house and the start of the 6000 m² park surrounded by high walls. We live there, but in a part of the house independent of the cottage, with our personal parking and garden. Surrounded by trees, private parking for 6 vehicles awaits you with 2 outlets to recharge your electric vehicles. You can then take possession of the authentic and atypical cottage, but let's focus on the park first. Near the parking lot, a petanque court awaits you nestled under the trees (great for avoiding sunburn), not far from the secure pool with its shelter (but not heated, it's better to cool off in the middle of summer...) and its adjoining terrace as well as the summer kitchen to relax out of sight. We provide a Weber barbecue. Behind the pool appears the park, with its century-old trees (linden, redwood, ginkgo biloba, Judas tree...), which will lead you to the river by a secure access. Now that you've returned from the river bank (150 m to the house anyway, you may have had time to meet Tic and Tuc the squirrels, Raymond the hedgehog or even hear Madame Pic Vert), you can push the door of the cottage. In the charm of the old, 320 m² are available to you, for which the hostess has done all the decoration. You will discover in turn its TV room (TNT and Canal+ channels), its games room with foosball and darts, its living room on parquet with its fireplace (note that all the rooms on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs have fireplaces, otherwise it would not be a real 18th century house). In winter, you will feel the gentle warmth of geothermal heating. A kitchen furnished and equipped for 14 people also awaits you. You can navigate from the kitchen to the summer kitchen and the pool through the dovecote full of history... Of course, you won't have to do the dishes (unless you really want to) because there is a dishwasher. Capsule and pod coffee machines as well as a (kitchen) food processor also await you. Via a wide staircase, you will access the floors with wooden floors and stone. The rooms are all spacious (minimum 20 m²) and 2 are equipped with bathrooms. Except for one to the east (perfect for getting up at the same time as the sun), they are all south-facing with views of trees and nature. On the 2nd floor, one of the bedrooms is a dormitory for 4 people, for children or adults. To sleep well, all the frames are double-glazed, and the curtains are blackout. Wi-Fi is available on all floors via repeaters. You may have a hard time getting out of this peaceful retreat. However, remember that we are 5 minutes from the Parc du Futuroscope and its Aquascope, the 6000-seat Arena-Futuroscope, 10 minutes from Poitiers, an hour from the Marais Poitevin and the Loire castles, 1.5 hours from La Rochelle, 1.75 hours from Puy du Fou... and less than 1 hour from plenty of other things to do in Vienna (tourist sites, spa, picturesque villages). A shopping area is also minutes away (shops, restaurants). If you would like to request a caterer, or even a cook in the cottage, a person for massages, you will need to request it in advance (and this is not included in the price of the accommodation). As you can see, we will do our best to ensure that you keep memories of relaxation, rest, laughter from this place. In return, we specify that we do not want noise pollution (no parties, outdoor music for example) in order to maintain a good relationship with the neighborhood and the quality of life that we value so much. Guest access You can use the entire 320 m2 of the cottage as well as the park at your convenience. Other things to note The pool is secured by an enclosure and a dome, which also allows the pool to be heated from May. Upon request, we can provide you with a projector. Given the fact that the bedrooms and bathrooms are only on the floors (no elevator ) , the cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
