Quaint summer house

Our summer house is located on the outskirts of the town. It is 65 square meters in size. Next to the living room, it has 2 bedrooms of 6 sqm each - a master bedroom with a 2 m bed and a children's room with a bunk bed that also fits adults. Next to the kitchenette there is a breakfast corner. The living room is adjoined by a 10 m² covered balcony, from which you can go into the garden. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. If you want to explore nature, no problem, the hiking trails start 20 meters above the cottage. The space Our summer cottage used to be a hunting lodge. It has a natural, romantic ambience. Particularly charming is the covered terrace, where you can end mild summer evenings wonderfully with a glass of wine - including the sound of the stream. You are also welcome to visit our farm with 85 dairy cows, 5 cats, 2 horses and 2 goats and - if you like - also help out. Guest access Our summer house is in a secluded location, there is only one entrance, on the terrace and in the garden you are undisturbed. Other things to note Schnellrode is a village of 200 inhabitants where there are more cows than people. There is an organic shop with regional vegetables and eggs and of course there is milk at our farm! The village has a large playground. The larger shops are in Spangenberg - 5 km - and Hess. Lichtenau. The landscape invites you to hike - we are located in the Hessian low mountain range, at the foot of the Hoher Meißner (753 m), which has many hiking trails. The Ars Natura art hiking trail leads through Schnellrode. For children, the Germerode Zoo or the Vockerode Barefoot Trail is recommended. The nearest indoor and outdoor swimming pool is in Spangenberg, 5 km away. Pedal boating on the Fulda in Melsungen, 15 km away, is also very popular. The water features in the Wilhelmshöher Bergpark of the UNESCO World Heritage Site also attract many visitors. Our village is regularly served by bus line 400.
