My private, first floor apartment is close to art and cultural activities, restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of space, high ceilings, old world charm, artistic amenities and location, location, location! Walk everywhere!. The space House was built in 1895 and still holds old world charm - great woodwork, built in's, stained glass, very high ceilings, and artistically decorated, including lots of unusual artwork. Very spacious, versatile, quiet and comfortable, on a corner lot, with a big back yard and lots of surrounding trees makes this a special, cozy and inviting spot. Guest access You have your own private entry, from front porch into a vestibule, with your own private entrance to the first floor apartment. The porch is shared -- I use it occasionally. I hardly use the back yard so you will have that view and access to back yard furniture, on your own, as well as your own private back porch, with chairs and table. In summer months, you may use the outdoor grill in the back yard. includes WIFI, internet, cable TV. Ceiling fans and standing fans - and space heater for winter. Other things to note If I happen to be away during your stay (I live upstairs) then I will provide you with 1) someone else to contact, in an emergency, during my absence and 2) an easy way for you to enter the apartment on your own. Sometimes, people arrive late --often, guests take the red eye from California, for example, and arrive in PGH after midnight. If that's you, I will leave a hidden key so you can enter the premises on your own, then I will greet you in the morning, if possible (not early.) Usual check in is 3p or after - I am flexible about exact arrival and departure times, depending on schedule of other guests, if we communicate, in advance, about your special requests.
