Fiskarhamnen Dalarö, The big house

Live the simple life in this peaceful and centrally-located accommodation on Dalarö. Magical view of Jutholmen. The property dates back to the 18th century and the house has been built and renovated in stages, which means that it is unique with interiors from everything between the 50s (kitchen and one bathroom) to 2023 (the other bathroom). All amenities are available, but best suited for those who appreciate a slightly older rural style instead of ultra-modern. The space Downstairs there is a hall, living room and dining room, a small TV room with sofa as well as a kitchen and small bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is from the 50s, but repainted a few years ago. The bathroom was renovated in 2023 with white tiles and marble floors. Other rooms were renovated in the 50s, but still hold up if you like the style. The furniture is a mix of old and new. There is a cozy porch that is open in the summer. Upstairs, there is a hall with a desk and a small wooden sofa as well as two bedrooms and a bathroom. These were renovated in the 1950s, so you should like the older style. The bathroom is retro and is on the list to be renovated. Unfortunately, the bathtub cannot be used as it leaks. There is a toilet, sink and top-fed washing machine. Guest access Virtually all except the part of the property where the guest house and red shed are located if they are rented to other guests. Some storage rooms and drawers are locked for private belongings. Other things to note Bring your own bedclothes. (Unfortunately, we are unable to handle changing and washing bed linens at this time). Duvets and pillows are available. Cleaning is not included. We hire cleaning a few times per season, but each guest must clean properly after themselves to keep up. Poor cleaning is charged according to the cleaning company's rate (expensive). There is a guest house on the property that is also rented out. There are stairs up to the house, so unfortunately not handicapped accessible. Some spaces and cabinets are locked for private belongings, but you have access to the whole house and most of the property when you rent. If you want to bring pets, it must be approved and they must be 100% housebroken, and kept on a leash if the guest house is also rented to other guests. Piano is available, but is probably not so well tuned, so no guarantees on that. There is a barbecue area in the garden overlooking the water.
