The space This home boasts an open floor plan with breathtaking mountain views, making it an ideal spot for family and friends to gather and enjoy each other’s company. There’s ample space for your group to spread out and relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals, including a variety of spices. It’s also stocked with all the necessary cookware and appliances, such as a coffee pot, air fryer, crock pot, and toaster. Step outside to savor your coffee on the screened-in porch. The spacious dining area offers stunning mountain views and a table that can be expanded to accommodate additional guests. If you prefer to cook outdoors, we have you covered with grills, tables, and a fire pit. The cozy living room features quality furnishings and a gas fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for relaxation and togetherness. The middle floor also includes an additional sitting room with two comfortable swivel chairs, an electric fireplace, and a wall-mounted television. There are four tastefully decorated bedrooms and three full bathrooms to accommodate your group. A dedicated workspace is available for remote work travelers. For our young guests, we’ve provided a pack ’n play, highchair, baby gates, and a bed rail. The lower level houses a game and movie room, perfect for fun and entertainment. Engage in games like foosball, darts, checkers, or board games. Enjoy a family movie night on the 64-inch TV while lounging on the new sectional sofa. Alternatively, watch the game in the bar area on the 50-inch wall-mounted TV, complete with a mini refrigerator. Create unforgettable outdoor memories and dine under the stars in the covered pavilion. It’s equipped with quality patio furniture, a Blackstone griddle, propane grill, and smoker. Gather around the bonfire and savor delicious smores, as firewood is provided. After a day of exploring the great outdoors, unwind in the 5-person hot tub. Enjoy the newly installed 16x16 foot deck created for our guests to enjoy the spectacular sunsets or stargazing. Take a refreshing walk on the 1-mile hiking trail that winds through the property. Located on Tanners Ridge Rd, this home is conveniently situated on an easily accessible state-maintained road. It’s a prime location near all the attractions of the Shenandoah Valley, including: Jordan Hollow Horse Stables (5 minutes away), Wisteria Vinyard (6 minutes away), and Lake Arrowhead (10 minutes away). Luray Caverns is a 16-minute drive away, while Hawksbill Brewery is just a 15-minute drive. Bear Mountain Ziplines and Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort are both 20-minute drives. The SNP Thornton Gap Entrance is 25 minutes away, and the Shenandoah River offers kayaking and fishing opportunities, both of which take 25 minutes. Elkton, VA, is a 25-minute drive, and Massanutten Ski Resort (Golf and Indoor Water Park) is 35 minutes away. Harrisonburg, VA (James Madison University) is a 40-minute drive. We offer weekly, monthly, and military discounts. Please inquire about the military discount. Pets are allowed at this property, but only two well-behaved, house-trained dogs are permitted. Cats are not allowed. Please confirm pets with your reservation. Excessive pet damage or cleaning may incur additional fees. Dogs must be on a leash when outside the home, and all waste must be picked up and disposed of in the outdoor trash can. There is a fantastic community dog park in Stanley, just 5 minutes from the home. The maximum occupancy for this home is 10 guests. For larger groups, please send an inquiry for consideration. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. Other things to note We look forward to hosting you for a memorable mountain getaway. Please review our policies/procedures below and let us know if you have any questions. House Rules: All guests have read and will abide by the below house rules. Failure to do so may result in additional fees and/or eviction from the property with no refund. No parties or events of any type are allowed. Maximum guest capacity is 10. Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight. No smoking inside the home, only smoking outdoors is permitted. Smoking inside the home will result in a $500 fee. Noise- we do have neighbors, please be respectful and keep the outside noise at a reasonable level. Quiet hours are designated from 10pm - 7am. Check-In/Out: Guests will receive a message 24 hours in advance of reservation date with address and door lock code. Check in begins at 4pm, unless early check-in is requested. Check out is promptly at 11am to allow cleaning crew access. Security Cameras: are located on premises for insurance purposes. All cameras are located outdoors, respecting our guest's privacy and will be turned off upon guest arrival. Pets- Up to 2 house-trained dogs are allowed with reservation. Please confirm pets when making reservation, $50 pet fee applies. Guests are asked to clean up after pets using the provided bags and trash can. Additional fees may be incurred for any damage created by pets. Weather- Our home is located at 2700 ft elevation and the weather in the mountains can be unpredictable. Please monitor the forecast before traveling. For cancellations due to weather, we follow our published cancellation policy and do not offer weather-related refunds. Please consider purchasing trip insurance for added protection. Our home is located on a state-maintained paved road. Wildlife : The home is located in a mountain environment surrounded by vegetation and woods. There may be insects in/around the property. We have a monthly pest control service to mitigate this. You may see wildlife to include deer, rabbits, squirrels, snakes, and even bears. Hot Tub- The maximum occupancy for the hot tub is 5 persons. No glass, soap, oil, bath salts, or other liquids are allowed in the hot tub. Guests shall ensure the hot tub is covered at all times when not in use. Damage to the hot tub cover warranting replacement will result in a $350 charge. Guests agree to all policies associated with the hot tub and release the property owners of all liabilities and claims associated with hot tub use including personal illness, injury, or death. Fire Pit- There is a fire pit for our guests to enjoy, and wood is provided. Please exercise fire safety and precautions when having a bonfire, including fully extinguishing the fire and covering the fire pit when finished. WAIVER- Guests have read and agree to all Airbnb policies as published by the hosts and may be held liable for any damages. Hosts reserve the right to remove guests from the property, without refund, in the event of excessive overnight guests, parties, noise, or illegal activity. Guests waive the Hosts of any and all liabilities for injury, illness or other significant events while staying at the AirBnB property.
