Beachfront paradise meets sustainability. Renovated with environmental sustainability and energy efficiency in mind, the beach house features high ceilings for open-airflow, lots of natural light using locally sourced materials. 2 rooms open towards the living room giving you direct beach views. Guests share common areas like the living room, kitchen and indoor and outdoor bathroom. There's no AC but plenty of good vibes. Enjoy the freshwater pool, beach deck with loungers and stunning views. The space The house is ON the beach. You'll enjoy beachfront views and can directly access the beach in front of you! This is a 2-bedroom beach house listing that comfortably sleeps 4. Each room has a queen sized bed, a hanging rack, a bedside table and electric fan. The queen bed sleeps 2 people comfortably. The owner (me!) lives in the 3rd room at the back of the 2 rooms. The owner shares common areas such as the kitchen, pantry, living room, bathroom and pool deck. There's no AC, only fan and cool breeze in the late afternoon and night. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY PRIOR TO BOOKING! *Open spaces* The beach house is situated ON the beach - with direct access to the beach itself. This means that privacy can be an issue sometimes because we cannot control the people who come and hang out on the beach in front of the house! The property is also NOT gated. This means that from the small walkway, people can see you when you walk in the hallway outside the house. Please be reminded that sometimes neighborhood kids can come up to guests by the pool to socialize. While it is under your discretion to entertain them, we highly recommend telling them 'you want privacy.' *Natural Dipping Pool* The natural freshwater pool is cleaned for every new booking for minimum 3 nights. To keep the pool clean during your stay, we recommend that you rinse off any sand from your swimwear and your feet before going into the pool. The pool does not have any filters - so any sand that gets into the pool will stay in the pool until it is drained. *Humidity* Please be reminded that you are booking a NON-AC room. Humidity, moist can be an issue especially during hot summer days. If tou have asthma or any respiratory related condition, please consider the humidity issue. *PLEASE READ!!! Animals, insects and rodents* The beach house is situated around flora and fauna and lush greenery. The house is not a self contained concrete box. The ceiling is made of natural materials like bamboo and water/seagrass/nipa and is susceptible to moist. Insects and other animals can visit us some days - yes that includes beetles, cockroaches, flies, frogs, lizards and sometimes even hermit crabs! In the bathroom, there are lizards in the ceiling and lizard poop can fall on the floor, bathroom sink or toilet. If you are sensitive to these insects, please do not book here! Neighborhood dogs and cats and sometimes rats (from outside) also appear out of nowhere. We assure you, the house is fully cleaned before check in. Please don't keep trash and any food items inside the house and your room unattended as they attract these insects and unwanted animals! * Bathroom* The bathroom is shared with other guests and myself. There's both outdoor toilet and shower and indoor toilet and shower (with hot water). The bathroom is located at the back of the house, accessed through a hallway. *Shared Spaces* This is a shared beach house with 3 rooms. I live on the 3rd room at the back of the house and I am renting the 2 rooms in front. So yes, you will be sharing common areas with me. Guest access The house is shared with the owner who lives at the back (me!). When I am traveling, I rent out my room to other guests as well. I share common areas like the front deck, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Guests have access to the main door and beach front doors. Each room has it's of key and padlock. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE BOOKING A SHARED BEACH HOUSE, NOT A PRIVATE VILLA. *Shared Spaces* This is a shared beach house with 3 rooms. I live on the 3rd room at the back of the house and I am renting the 2 rooms in front. So yes, you will be sharing common areas with me. Kitchen, living room and outdoor deck and pool are also shared spaces. The bathroom is shared with me. There's an outdoor shower and indoor shower (with hot water). All our outdoor lighting are solar powered. we do not have AC and count on the high ceilings built specifically to boost air circulation, this significantly lowers our electricity consumption compared to other Airbnb’s in the area and Water Conservation we harvest rainwater and our pool is mostly filled using rainwater during the rainy season. We also use rainwater for garden irrigation as well as basic cleaning. we have installed low-flow showerheads, faucets, and toilets to reduce water usage without compromising guest comfort we educate and encourage guests to save water during their stay by reusing towels and limiting shower time Waste Reduction and Recycling we provide eco-conscious skin and haircare products for our guests for free, and encourage guests not shampoo or soap sachets, thereby reducing plastic wastes we have a circular composting system with a compost conveniently located just right outside the kitchen sink. The compost is harvested every month and goes into our gardening we implement recycling of cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles, please see instructions in your guest welcome packet we provide purified drinking water so guests can refill their bottles, encouraging our guests not to buy small plastic water bottles. We avoid as much as possible single use plastics. we use eco-friendly and non-toxic cleaning products whenever possible. We make our own mix of vinegar, lemon and organic soap for our basic cleaning. by requiring a minimum of 2-nights stay, we conserve water for laundry of linens and towels. Local Sourcing we source our amenities as local as possible, reducing transportation emissions, supporting recycling efforts, and promoting the local economy Got some ideas? STRICTLY NO PARTIES/PORNOGRAPHY AND DRUGS ALLOWED IN THE PROPERTY. Use of swimming pool: We have a minimum of 3 nights stay in order to be able to use the swimming/dipping pool. The pool is sanitized and cleaned every check-in, so it is cost efficient only if there's a minimum 3 nights stay.
