Ouma Celia Cottage

Feminine and layered and full of art, like Ouma Celia was, our Viviene Leigh of the Vaal rivier. A homage in pink and pistachio. The two cottages are located just below Die Boekklub and overlook the Drakenstein Mountains. The cottages share a wrap around veranda and small private garden. The space We converted the old pack shed on the farm into a culture club called Die Boekklub and the outbuildings into two cottages named after our grandmothers: The Ouma Koeksie and The Ouma Celia. The Villa and spacious open-plan loft apartment referred to as the Art Studio are also available for rental. The Villa, Studio and Cottages are linked by a communal pool area and rambling gardens providing ample space for a large group of friends or extended family to connect and celebrate together and still retreat to the privacy and quiet of their own abodes. Die Boekklub is a venue for cultural events, but there is a bed on the mezzanine for those who want to feel like they are sleeping in the Hall of The Mountain King.
