The space Discover "Milly de Villette," a historic 1920 gem meticulously remodeled for your comfort and enjoyment. Nestled about 5 minutes from Ashford and 13.8 miles from Mt. Rainier entrance, this 2084 square feet haven offers a unique blend of heritage charm and contemporary luxury, making it an ideal retreat for both relaxation and adventure. As you enter, you'll be greeted by an inviting atmosphere where every corner tells a story. Milly features 4 bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with organic Avocado mattresses and Tempur-Pedic toppers, ensuring a restful sleep. The two bedrooms upstairs, including vintage twin four-poster beds from 1920, cater to a variety of guest needs, whether for adults or younger visitors. Bedding textiles include linens from Liberty of London, Italic, Williams Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, Anthropology and Restoration Hardware. The living space is designed to foster meaningful conversations and relaxation. It houses a collection of art pieces, each with its own narrative, inspiring guests to explore and reflect. The common space upstairs serves as a versatile area for relaxation, reading, or engaging in games, complemented by a bar cart and the unique party starter Andy Cohen Club House Shot Ski. The home, while steeped in history, does not shy away from modern comforts. It includes a fully-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet, 3 smart TVs, heated bathroom floors, electric fireplace in the breakfast nook and a collection of board games for entertainment. Laundry room features a full sized stacked washer and dryer in case you need to refresh any of your clothing. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home except for the locked linen closet, the shoulder eaves and the locked shed outdoors. Enjoy the 2084 square feet and 1/3 acre of outdoor spaces. Other things to note One block to Mt Rainier Railroad for excursions such as Christmas with the Santa. Ski, snowboard, snowshoe at White Pass driving time is 1 hour 17 min (70.1 miles) via US-12 E. Or head up to Mt. Rainier and enjoy winter mountain activities, weather dependent. 5 minutes to Ashford for restaurants and Whitakers Base Camp for hiking, snowshoeing supplies and more. Milly de Villette is a rural property, song birds are known to visit and land in the tree branches outside and sing to you, other wild birds are known to be seen in the sky, all are harmless to you as a guest. Please check with Mt. Rainier National Park for driving rules in the winter months and reservations when required. Infants and children are welcome to stay in Milly de Villette, just let us know in advance so we can prepare the Pack N Play. Sorry, no pets or emotional support animals. The yard is not fully fenced and it is our experience that pets can easily escape the yard when in new surroundings.
