Our retreat in Schönberg – For families 120 square meters of living space and 400 square meters of fenced garden offer plenty of space for all ages to relax. Our lovingly renovated, detached 1970s family home combines a charming, feel-good atmosphere with modern, top-notch amenities. With space for up to 5 people, our "Auszeit" is a real oasis of calm. What makes our getaway so special? It is the incomparable, quiet yet central location, coupled with a breathtaking view. Here you live right on the pulse of nature. Right after waking up in the morning, you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the countryside directly from your bed, from the balcony, or from the terrace. Watch the local animals in the adjacent meadows, listen to the wind in the trees and simply enjoy the pure, undisturbed silence. After an eventful day of excursions, everyone will find their own personal retreat here to completely switch off and unwind. The centerpiece: a kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired Whether it's a quick breakfast or a big family dinner, our fully equipped, high-end kitchen is a dream come true for amateur cooks: Large 90 cm induction stove (5 zones) with extractor fan & oven Microwave, freezer, dishwasher & fully automatic washer-dryer High-quality KitchenAid appliances, waffle iron, crêpe maker, egg boiler, and fondue & raclette Plenty of crockery and cutlery available (for up to 12 people) Spend time together & relax The light-flooded, open living and dining area impresses with its extra-high ceilings and invites you to spend cozy hours. The best entertainment is provided: Free live TV via Waipu TV, a huge DVD collection, and a well-stocked library with books and games for guests from 0 to 99 years old also make every "bad weather" day a pleasure. For home office guests, a desk with a LAN connection and WiFi is available in the dining area. Sleep & dream with views of the countryside (top floor) Bedroom 1: Luxurious box spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), custom built-in closets and a private balcony with fantastic views over meadows to the forest. Bedroom 2: Comfortable bunk bed (sleeps 2, also suitable for adults) and sofa bed (suitable for 2 kids and for 1 adult or couple) with direct access to the cozy "red salon" and views of nature. Comfort for all generations (adapted & family-friendly) It is important to us that everyone can move freely here. A stair lift takes you upstairs with minimal barriers. The newly renovated bathroom has a spacious, barrier-free shower with flexible glass doors (ideal for people with disabilities). For the little ones: A changing table and a cozy nursing/relaxing chair are permanently integrated into the bathroom. We are happy to provide you with a baby bathtub, diaper pail and travel cot on request! Your private garden paradise with outdoor kitchen Enjoy absolute tranquility on the terrace with a cozy sitting area, awning and toys available. A culinary highlight outdoors: Our covered outdoor kitchen! Choose flexibly between a Weber charcoal grill or a gas grill. You can then end the perfect vacation evening by your own fire pit in the garden under the stars. Important details in a nutshell: Parking: Free parking spaces for several vehicles directly on the property. E-mobility: Charging electric vehicles using the house electricity is not permitted. Looking forward to seeing you soon! A break from everyday life. Guest access Access to the house takes place by means of a key safe. So you can arrive at any time from 4 pm. You will receive the code one day before arrival. Other things to note Activities right outside the front door & perfect connections Ready to get moving? You can start long walks, extensive bike tours or athletic runs in the adjacent forest areas directly at our doorstep. To help you find your way around optimally, we have already prepared great route recommendations for you in various lengths! Even without a car, you are well connected: There is a direct connection to the public transport network (HVV) via two bus stops. From there you can reach Hamburg's main train station in just one hour. Alternatively, you can easily reach Hamburg, Lübeck and the Baltic Sea coast by train or subway from the nearby towns of Ahrensburg and Großhansdorf. Free car parking is also available at both train stations. Only the best for the little ones (free service) We want your trip to be as relaxed as possible. If you need a travel cot, a baby bathtub, a diaper pail or a toilet seat for your child, just send us a short message in advance – we will be happy to provide these items completely free of charge. Also, just let us know if you need a stair guard so that we can prepare everything for you. Well equipped for emergencies Should something happen during the vacation, your medical care is well taken care of in the neighboring villages: General medicine: Practice of Dr. Bernhard Reiß & Heidi Brockhaus, Rosenweg 2 in 23898 Sandesneben. Pharmacy: Up de Höh 1 in 22952 Lütjensee – Ms. Britta Krumstroh and her friendly team will be happy to advise you there. Important House Rules in a nutshell: Quiet & events: Our house is a place of relaxation – events and parties are therefore not allowed. So that you, your family and your vehicles feel completely safe, protected and well looked after with us, we would like to briefly mention that the outdoor area of the property is under video surveillance for your protection. E-mobility: Charging electric vehicles using the house electricity is strictly prohibited. Parking: Free parking spaces for several vehicles are available directly on the property.
