Located right on Almejal beach in El Valle, Bahia Solano, perched on a small hill with amazing views, a magical escape nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Choco tropical forest, perfect for you to reconnect with nature. Whale watching (July-Sept), release baby sea turtles (Sept-Jan), Swimming, Surfing, walks and hikes to nearby waterfalls or JUST TO RELAX. The space At the Hill BnB, We only have three rooms, all with spectacular views and full private bathrooms, with a maximum capacity of 12 people (West x 1 or 2, East x 2 or 3 and Master x 2 or 3 or 4)There are ample spaces around the property (Decks, Terraces, Day bed, Top of the Hill Art garden) inviting you to sit and relax and you can practice social distancing if desire. The breakfast lounge/shared kitchen (with everything you need to be creative cooking) on the third floor is very functional and homey and leads to a sense of easy, guest are invited to help themselves to Juices/sodas/beer from the fridge on a trust basis making you feel at home. Wake up with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast while being mesmerized with whales passing by on the distance (July-Sept) hummingbirds, butterflies... At the Hill We have a dog (sweet labrador) named Luna and Cats which are part of the family. Please know that they don't go into the second floor where the rooms are located. The owners live on the premises on independent quarters to be available and help you with all you need while allowing to enjoy your privacy. It's up to you. Guest access Almejal beach is just at your foot steps, is a lonely 1,2 mi of black sand from Volcanic rocks an excellent place for swimming and surfing where you can find 3 restaurants close by, walk to the end of the beach (North side) and oasis to get away from the craziness of cities to connect with nature or take a 10 -15 minutes walk to the small town El Valle where you can find a hand full of restaurants and buy essentials. During your stay Jupi and Monica owners and hosts, will be on hand to offer advice and assistance to make sure you make the most of your visit and feel like you are at home. Other things to note Besides the cottage in The Hill you can also enjoy Almejal beach, the jungle, cascades, river canoeing trips, visits to Embera indian communities, share with the Afro-Colombians, visit the Utria National Park to encounter whales (from July to October) .
