Welcome to our cozy 1946 Bungalow home nestled in the trees on our one acre property. You will be staying in the heart of Indiana farmland in a natural country setting, yet only 10-15 minutes from downtown, shopping and restaurants. Our home is stylishly decorated with modern and vintage pieces, giving it a homey, collected over time feel. The space The main living space of our home features an open concept living room/dining/kitchen. It is beautifully decorated with new and vintage pieces, giving it a stylish, cozy feel. The showcase of the living room is the large picture window that looks out to nature and the baby cow activity across the street! It is a wonderful view for your morning coffee! There is a smart TV in the living room with access to SlingTV along high-speed internet throughout the home. The kitchen features Gallery series appliances including a gas stove. It is stocked with all that you will need to prepare meals with cooking basics provided (salt/pepper, some spices, olive oil). Our convenient coffee bar has a Kurig with multiple complimentary coffee choices in the drawer below and a variety of creamers located in the fridge. The pretty cottage-style bedrooms feature cozy, comfortable mattresses and 100% cotton bedding! There are plenty of pillows for a good night's sleep to fit your preference from soft to more full/firm! Each room has a dresser, a closet with wooden hangers & a luggage rack for easy access to your suitcase and clothes. There are also high-speed phone chargers in each room that fit any style phone! The full bathroom is located between the two main floor bedrooms. The linen closet is located just outside the bathroom and is stocked with plenty of fluffy towels, hair dryer, first aid kit and some bathroom basics! Whether you are just stopping through or staying a little longer, we go the extra mile to make sure you have a comfortable stay while you are here! Guest access Guests have access to the entire house (with the exception of the basement) which includes a great-room style kitchen/dining/living room, two cozy bedrooms on the main floor, a third spacious "attic" bedroom upstairs and a full bathroom on the main floor. **While access to the basement is not included in the rental, you will not be sharing our home with any other guests. We do pop in the private side entrance to the basement, only to change out our second listing on the other side of our property, but this area is locked so your stay is completely private!** This is our primary home that we are opening up for booking while we are in a season of living with our aging mom nearby. We take great pride in our home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Other things to note We are the second owner of our 1946 Bungalow and it was pretty much original when we bought it. We moved here in spring of 2015 and have put a lot of of love into updating our home, especially the inside which includes an updated kitchen. **We do have a washer and dryer available upon request for longer stays!! **Need to check in early or check out late? We are happy to accommodate your request! We offer complimentary early check in at 3pm or late check out at 11am upon request! We charge a nominal $35 fee for early check in prior to 3pm or late check out after 11am. **NOTE: While the entire home is yours to rent, the basement is private and not available to guests, but you will not be sharing any space in the home with other guests. We do use the private side entrance to the basement briefly some days to change out our second listing, The Tiny Shed, on the other side of our property, but this area remains locked so your stay is completely private!**
