The Blue Room

Relax and unwind in a comfy and spacious bedroom with its own entrance, a sensational, groovily modern bathroom and privacy from the rest of the house. Conveniently located halfway between beautiful Bright and mellow Myrtleford and set in beautiful gardens, you'll be glad you came! The space The Blue Room is a large space containing a well-dressed, queen bed. It has a fan, sliding screen door and a window with a green view to Mt Buffalo. Tea and coffee is provided. The bathroom is newly designed and renovated, spacious and groovy with a large shower, heated towel rail and lots of space! If you need access to TV for your stay, I can lend you a MacBook Air for streaming. Just ask... Guest access You have your own, private entrance and access to the gardens and around the church at the front. Your accommodation is slightly separate from the main house with some adjoining, soundproofed walls. You may use the patio and back yard with prior approval (my dog and cat also share that space). Details of entry to The Blue Room will be shared the day prior to your arrival. During your stay I am not far away and will probably catch sight of you during your stay. I am happy to have a chat, or pass the time of day, or give you a nod - it's your break, you spend it how you like, just let me know! Other things to note 🐾 Travelling with a Dog? A well-behaved dog is welcome to join you, provided they meet the following criteria: * 🐶 Quiet and friendly * 🐾 Not a chewer or digger * 🚽 Housetrained * 🐕 Good with other dogs I have a 2-year-old spayed female Vizsla named Mij, who is very friendly. You're welcome to share the secure, fenced yard as long as your dog is comfortable with Mij and does not view cats as a potential snack. 👉 Please bring your own dog bedding, food, and other essentials. 🔔 Important: Dogs must not be left unattended in the room at any time during your stay. Please make alternative arrangements if you plan to go out. Speak to me about a dog sitting contact I have if necessary. 🔥 Experience a Magical Evening by the Fire Pit (Optional Add-On: $50) Relax by the fire pit and take in breathtaking views of Mount Buffalo, a glowing sunset, and a sky full of stars on clear nights. Everything is provided for a cosy and serene evening: * Fire pit with wood * Mosquito-repellent * Chairs, blankets, cushions * Snack table * Hundreds of fairy lights This is a lovely setting for a quiet, respectful gathering - perfect for creating special memories. Please note: not suitable for loud parties. Subject to fire restrictions. ✨ Fire Season Alternative: Pergola Evenings During fire season, guests are invited to relax under the pergola, with the same stunning view of Mount Buffalo at sunset. On clear nights, the starry sky and soft glow of fairy lights create a truly magical atmosphere. 🪑 *Please note:* the pergola is available on a first-come, first-served basis, as it is shared between both of my Airbnb listings. To avoid disappointment, you're encouraged to mention your interest when booking.
