Albrechtsburg, porcelain manufactory, Elbradweg and train station are close by... Your 92 m² apartment "Constantia" combines historical flair with modern design. It is located on the 2nd floor of the listed building (built in 1851) on Lorenzgasse, with a balcony facing the historic rear courtyard and views of the old town and the tops of the Albrechtsburg. The house was lovingly and meticulously renovated between 2021 and 2023, and its energy efficiency was improved. Your 4-room apartment is brightly furnished, equipped with underfloor heating and can accommodate up to 6 people. To ensure you have a first-class night's sleep, three separate bedrooms await you with a total of two cozy king-size beds (1.80 x 2 m) and one queen-size bed (1.60 x 2 m) - all with hotel-quality bedding. The new fitted kitchen is fully equipped: induction stove, large fridge and extra freezer, kettle, toaster and cookware - there is even a crêpe maker. High-quality spices, olive oil and everything else you need to cook delicious meals are also available. We have also prepared various types of tea and a selection of coffee pods for the NESPRESSO coffee machine for you. You can either enjoy your meal at the counter with bar stools in the kitchen or in the dining area in the living room, which can accommodate 6 people. The 55" smart TV gives you the opportunity to access NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, YouTube or media libraries or to browse the TV program. You can cozy up on the large couch and end the evening relaxing with books, magazines or a board game. In the bathroom you will find a walk-in rainforest shower as well as a bathtub and a towel radiator. Of course, we provide fresh towels, a hairdryer and bathroom essentials. The fast Wi-Fi (100 Mbps) and the Nespresso coffee machine also make working in the apartment a pleasure. Our guests can use our parking lot for free, which is located in the locked backyard of the building. You can find the key to the gate in the apartment. The gate to the courtyard is 255 cm wide + 270 cm high. The location of the apartment is also ideal: The apartment is located in the middle of the old town - near the theater and the market square. Many cozy restaurants and cafes are very close. The S-Bahn station Meißen-Altstadt is about an 8-minute walk away. The world-famous porcelain manufactory is only 1 km away. Dresden can be reached in 30 minutes by car or in 45 minutes by S-Bahn. Meissen is an ideal location for excursions to Moritzburg Castle, the Erzgebirge and Saxon Switzerland. The name of our apartment, Fynbos, comes from the Afrikaans language and refers to vegetation typical of South Africa. Since we are both absolute fans of South Africa, the apartment features some elements from the beautiful country at the Cape. Each of our apartments is equipped with at least one personal picture from our trips to Africa. Your apartment “Constantia” is named after the oldest winery in South Africa – Groot Constantia – which produces excellent wines and is located in the midst of breathtaking scenery. Guest access During your stay, you will have the apartment completely to yourself and will be undisturbed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. The key is handed over easily by PIN through the electronic locking system (no key required). This allows you to check in independently and contactlessly and be completely independent and flexible. A registration form must be completed before check-in. Other things to note We provide high-quality bedding and towels. Coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil and a selection of high-quality spices are at your disposal free of charge during your stay. There's also shampoo (body + hair) from Rituals. Extra services: - Late check-out is bookable for an extra charge depending on availability - We also offer cleaning during the stay at an extra charge. Guest tax: The city of Meissen levies a guest tax for the maintenance and development of the tourist infrastructure. Therefore, people who book accommodation in the city pay an amount of €1.50 per person per night all year round. This does not apply to: children and adolescents up to the age of 18 year of life; pupils, students and trainees from the 18th to the 25th year of life; severely disabled persons with the pre-printed symbols BL or aG in the severely disabled person's identity card as well as accompanying persons of severely disabled persons with proof; each additional person of a family if guest tax is paid for three family members.
