Set within Beach Haus Creative, an award-winning concept that channels profits into charitable causes, this East Sussex condo is part residence, part gallery. Hand-painted murals and gallery-level artworks line walls framed by intricate original cornicing and soaring ceilings, giving the Lodge a character that belongs entirely to its history and the people who brought it back to life. Living space The main living area earns its atmosphere. Original cornicing draws the eye upward while the indoor fireplace anchors the room below - the natural gathering point on cool autumn and winter evenings along the Sussex coast. A flat-screen TV and Bluetooth sound system are ready when you want them, and a curated selection of books lines the shelves for slower hours. Central heating keeps the Lodge comfortable throughout the year, and Wi-Fi alongside a dedicated workspace in a common area makes longer stays as practical as they are enjoyable. Sleeping arrangements The Lodge is spread across two levels, with living spaces and bedrooms on separate floors - a layout that gives the property a settled, breathing quality. Three bedrooms each contain a double bed, comfortably sleeping up to six guests. Every room is prepared with bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, room-darkening shades, clothing storage, and hangers. Kitchen & dining The fully equipped kitchen is set up for serious cooking. A stainless steel gas stove, stainless steel double oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher are all on hand, alongside cooking basics, dishes and silverware, a french press coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, blender, baking sheet, and wine glasses - with coffee provided. The dining table brings everything together for long meals with the people who made the journey with you. Bathroom & laundry The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. For extended stays, a washer, drying rack, and iron are all available, with a laundromat nearby for additional capacity. Families & pets Gensing Lodge is pet-friendly and genuinely prepared for younger guests. A crib, Pack 'n Play/travel crib, and standalone high chair are always at the listing, alongside children's books and toys, children's dinnerware, and board games. Safety & practicalities Two exterior security cameras are in place - one in the hallway for the safety of neighbouring properties, and one outside the building. No internal cameras are installed. A smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and first aid kit are all present. Self check-in is via lockbox, luggage drop-off is available for early arrivals and late departures, and cleaning can be arranged during your stay. Parking & location Free parking is available on premises and on the street, with paid parking off premises also nearby. Shared beach access is a short walk away.
