The space is spacious, bright, well equipped and of excellent quality. If I came to Buenos Aires, I would definitely spend a few nights here. The space You're staying in a very private home. A classic conventillo from the early 20th century, a characteristic building style of this neighborhood. Made of wood and very colorful, it has a central courtyard that connects to all the homes and Caminito. Every day dozens of people ask me to come in to take pictures in the courtyard, the stairs, the windows. They love the colors and architecture of this place. Scenes from movies, concerts, video clips, photo shoots have been recorded here... it's a special place. The lodging site was completely refurbished in December 2023, it is very bright and on each of its walls you will find paintings by the most renowned artists in the area. You will also have old photos of the house and the neighborhood, history, art and photography books that portray local history. Other things to note La Boca is an emblematic neighborhood of Buenos Aires, with a wide cultural and gastronomic offer. During the day you can stroll through Caminito and its surroundings, which is beautiful! A few meters from the lodging you have the famous Bombonera del Club Boca Juniors, the Quinquela Martín Museum, the Fundación Proa and Fundación Andreani contemporary art museums, the Colón Theater Museum, the Samobar de Rasputín, the artisan fair (there are wonderful crafts), the El Gran Paraíso and Puerto Viejo grills, the Ferry Bridge, as well as a lot of art galleries and souvenirs. At night I recommend watching a neighborhood soccer game on the corner of the house, watching a candombe rehearsal in the firefighters' square, and having dinner at one of the famous pizzerias, such as Banchero or Hot, or ordering delivery at Augusto (my favorite), in addition to taking a sunset walk along the riverbank to see the colors of the sky and the moon over the river...one of the few central places in the city where you won't see tall buildings on the horizon. And if you want to stay and enjoy the accommodation, its art and local history books and get some rest, you can buy some delicious meat at one of the butcher shops in the area and prepare your dinner at the house. There are excellent butcher shops and the kitchen is fully equipped. I assure you that staying here is one of the best tours you can do in La Boca and Buenos Aires! You will love it!
