Millers House is set in a wonderful location next to Aysgarth Falls, close to the bustling market towns of Hawes and Leyburn. Recently renovated it sleeps 10/12 guests in 5 bedrooms and is perfect for large and extended families and is dog friendly with unique views across the River Ure. The local pub is within walking distance and fabulous The Mill Race Tea Shop is close by - perfect for a bite to eat, coffee or an ice cream. The space The historic Miller’s House is set in a wonderful location, just next to the beautiful Aysgarth Falls and close to the bustling market towns of Hawes and Leyburn. It has been recently renovated and decorated to a high standard and provides spacious, attractive accommodation set over three floors. Perfect for large and extended families, and dog-friendly, it retains many original features with oak beams throughout. Guests enter the house into the characterful stone-flagged hallway, which leads down to a spacious boot room (perfect for muddy wellies!), utility area and cloakroom. To the right of the hallway is the downstairs sitting room, offering a warm and cosy place to relax with its log-burner and wooden floor. To the left, the kitchen includes a large dining table, butcher’s block, modern, dark blue kitchen units (with induction hob) dishwasher and coffee machine, with stone stairs leading up to the first floor. The entire ground floor benefits from underfloor heating, making it a warm and cosy place to be on even the coldest days. There are three good-sized bedrooms on the first floor, including the welcoming master bedroom with king size bed and luxury ensuite wet room, and a large family bathroom. Stairs lead up to the second floor where there is a further large sitting room with comfortable sofas, log burner and smart tv, perfect for families and children. Two more bedrooms (a large double including an additional sofa bed, and a twin) and a second contemporary family bathroom complete the accommodation at the Miller’s House. The large garden boasts unique views across to the beautiful River Ure and offers direct access to the river. It is a great space for children to roam and play in. There are many beautiful walks and cycle trails close by and the house is only a short stroll from the stunning Aysgarth waterfalls and an excellent local pub. The Mill Race Tea Shop is also on the doorstep, providing a relaxed place to stop for a bite to eat or to get an ice cream. Miller’s House provides a truly comfortable base from which to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house.
