The space Myeongju-hanok is a private hanok stay designed for two. Its L-shaped layout embraces a quiet courtyard, connecting a dining area, a space for tea and foot baths, and a restful bedroom. Furnished with simple pieces that echo the elegance of hanok living, the space features exposed rafters that hold the passage of time, and objects inspired by nature. Guest access 🫖 Foot Bath & Tea Space Feel the soft breeze as you soak your feet in warm water. With a fragrant cup of tea in hand, the moment deepens into stillness and calm. ⸻ 🌿 Courtyard A small courtyard with moss-covered stones and green trees holds the quiet beauty of all four seasons. Sit along the wooden veranda and take in the slow passing of time. ⸻ 🎬 Projector A projector is installed for your movie nights. You’re free to enjoy Netflix and YouTube during your stay. ⸻ 🍷 Dining Cooking is not available, but we’ve prepared basic tableware so you can enjoy your favorite takeout meals. (Hand drip coffee set, wine glasses, toaster, microwave, mini refrigerator) ⸻ 🚗 Parking You can park along the school wall just in front of the alley. A public parking lot is also available a 3-minute walk away (63-2, Yonggang-dong, Gangneung-si). ⸻ 🗺️ Location Within walking distance, you’ll find the charming local shops, cafés, and restaurants of Seobu Market, Myeongju-dong, and Gangneung Central Market. For a little escape, Anmok and Gyeongpo beaches, as well as the scenic pine-lined Songjeong Beach, are just a 15-minute drive away. Other things to note Check-in 15:00 / Check-out 11:00 2 guests (2 guests max) Children under 14 are not allowed on the property. Pets are not allowed. GUIDELINES -The number of occupants and visitors should not exceed the maximum allowed limit. -No smoking in any areas of the property. -Usage of flammable items is strictly prohibited in all areas of the property. -In the event of violation, you may be evicted from the property and special cleaning fee is charged. -Compensation fee will be charged in case of loss or damage to bedding, equipment, facilities etc. -Disinfection service is carried out regularly but bugs and insects may still come in due the natural surrounding of the area. Refund is not possible for these reasons. -Commercial photography and video shooting without prior agreement are not allowed. Please be aware of safety accidents due to the structure of the accommodation. -FOOT BATH Foot bath salt is prepared. It is prohibited to use bath materials other than those provided. Limit the use of bath products that may cause drainage problems (various bellflowers, poppy, medicinal herbs, etc.). -KITCHEN Cooking facilities (gas stove, induction) are not available.
