Via Samara, the Casa is a half hour drive in the direction of Islita. You will drive through Torito, Carrillo, & Estrada. Once settled in, discover the Camaronal Wildlife Refuge, Punta Islita, & the Macaw Recovery Network. Or, just a short walk to Rio Ora for fishing and paddling. After, relax on the covered patios & let nature come to you. Pura Vida! Gracias The space The Container Casa is in a great location. Very tranquil. One air-conditioned room with double bed. an extra bed/sofa in main living kitchen area. Kitchen with hotplate and fridge/freezer. Bathroom with shower that overlooks the jungle. Covered outdoor living spaces. Upstairs covered deck. Hammocks. Wait and watch howlers and sometimes whiteface monkeys. Scarlet macaws and many other parrots and birds. Walk down the path the river and find the hummingbird tree where hundreds of hummingbirds will mesmerize you. N.B. There is no wifi at the property, hence the amazing price. Please ensure you have your own data for your stay. Mind yourself on the steps to the upper deck. There are also many tour companies who offer equestrian, quad, gyrocopter, & paddling/kayaking tours. Please inquire and we will set you up for a great adventure. Guest access Use of whole house is permitted. Enjoy the upper deck, but be careful on the staircase. Especially in the rain. Other things to note This is a perfect base for exploring the area. You will need a vehicle to get to the property. Preferably 4x4 or all-wheel drive, as conditions change with the weather and some of the roads can be a steep climb. Amazing spot. More adventurous travellers will appreciate this spot. Upstairs covered deck makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse. With more than 850 species of resident and migrant birds identified throughout Costa Rica, this is a birder's paradise. Many tours available close-by including equestrian, quad, kayak/paddling, gyrocopter et al. Just ask and we'll get you sorted with a local guide. The price for the house is right.
