Have a peaceful, restful stay at this centrally-located, Rivertown retreat in downtown Hastings-on-Hudson, suitable for the entire family. Our home situates you right in the heart of our village's downtown, only 1 block from Main Street. Explore the charms of riverside living or travel to New York City by car or train in only 25-35 minutes. The space Our home is historic and charming, combining mid century chandeliers with the warmth of a white brick fireplace (not functional at this time) with large flatscreen TVs and other modern amenities. Lower Level Primary Suite Bedroom Features a spacious King sized bed, closet, dresser, seating space and bedside table. There are light filtering window curtains, not blackout as we like the space to receive natural light. Watch your favorite shows on the 34 inch Smart TV, equipped with all the streaming applications. Cozy luxe bedding and linens are included. Lower Level Bathroom Full bathroom with a small, but high water pressure, step-in shower. There is a sink, vanity, toilet and small built-in space heater (works great in winter months!). Shampoo, Body wash, Hand soap, toilet paper, towels and bed linens are all provided/included. Upper Level Secondary Suite Bedroom Features a Queen sized bed, closet, dresser, and intimate seating space. There are light filtering window curtains, and almost blackout effect with interior pull-down curtain. Watch your favorite shows on the 50 inch Smart TV, equipped with all the streaming applications. Cozy luxe bedding and linens are included. Upper Level Bathroom Small bathroom with sink, vanity, toilet, and a deep soaking tub. This bathroom is right outside the bedroom door. Living Room This is a cozy lounge space! Curl up on the couch with a good book, or browse the streaming apps on our large (70+ inch) flat screen TV. There is a sofa loveseat, a comfy rocking chair with ottoman, large coffee table and a large arm chair for guests to enjoy. The original brick fireplace is not functional at this time and we do not allow guests to use it (YouTube has great fireplace ambiances to enjoy); there is an electric fireplace for use in the dining area. Dining Room Large 4 person dining area with ample natural light and an electric fireplace. Seating is comprised of 2 upholstered, high back chairs and a sofa seater. Kitchen We love to cook! The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware, glassware and all major appliances (fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave, wine key, can opener etc.). We have a drip, American coffee maker, an Italian espresso maker, and a large tea pot. You'll find baking trays, pizza tray, muffin pans, and various other baking supplies. The pantry will likely have basic necessities like salt, pepper, coffee, dish soap, oil, and other basics, though we cannot guarantee the amounts for each guest. There will be a roll of paper towels provided to guests, but we kindly ask you limit your paper usage and instead use our kitchen towels. Please note, guests must be able to go up and down interior and exterior stairs during their stay. There is a large exterior deck, with outdoor seating and lighting for enjoying the stars and surroundings. This is a private deck for guests, again, there are no shared or common spaces. Guest access Guests have full and complete access to our private, two-story home within a larger multi-family residence. There is a private entrance and 24/7 parking in our driveway. Guests do not have any shared or common spaces. Other things to note This is a multi-family residence with 3 separate, private apartment levels. You are renting the bottom 2 levels, (which are completely private) with no shared or common spaces. Guests have their own, private entrance to the bottom rented levels, with a mud room. The floor plan is split level, with the kitchen, living room, dining room and a full bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and the master suite, with a King bed, and full bathroom downstairs. The home's heating is ample, and you will be plenty warm without the fireplace. Thermostat to control home's heat is in the upstairs hallway by bathroom. There is an additional thermostat upstairs, as well as We ask that guests please respect this peaceful residential neighborhood and our kind, friendly neighbors. Observe quiet hours Monday - Thursday from 9pm, and Friday - Sunday, at 10pm. The top level is rented by a long term tenant, whom is very quiet and kind. Guests will likely not have contact as your rented space has a separate, private side entrance. There is 24/7 secure and free driveway parking, a total rare find for this area! There are also security cameras on the property, but not inside the home.
