Guest house in Paonia

Spacious (900 sf), private guest house in the country close to town of Paonia in western Colorado. Large, open, light-filled one-bedroom house includes 1 queen, 1 full and 1 single beds, big bathroom, full kitchen, laundry, living/dining area, wifi. Morning porch faces the mountains. Private patio overlooks pasture. No TV, just peace and quiet. Close to mountains, rivers, Grand Mesa, and Black Canyon National Park. Extremely clean and well-appointed. The space Our guest house was built in 2009 to accommodate the touring Tibetan monks who visit us most summers. High ceilings, lots of windows, couches and beds, and nooks inside and out for reading, dozing, and relaxing. "Much bigger than expected!" our guests say. Steps to hiking paths and mountain bike trails on public land. Loaner bikes for guests! One mile from downtown P-town. We use unscented cleaning supplies and hang sheets and towels to dry outside in the Colorado sunshine. Good internet, a nice library, but no phone or TV. Guest access The entire guest house is yours, as well as your own front porch facing the mountains and back patio overlooking our pasture. We live in our house across the backyard from the guest house. Please be aware, this is an active, busy small farm and you are likely to meet us coming and going. Other things to note We grow hay and vegetables on our organic farm, and two donkeys live in the pasture. Our dog Zip will visit with you across the fence.
