The Camping Pod Duo is a comfortable sleeping bag accommodation for two people, same as standard Camping Pod. The difference is Camping Pod Duo can only be booked for minimum two nights and therefore price is better. Guests do not have sleeping bags, bedding can be rented and paid for on check in. Baby crib cannot be added. Great location to explore some of the countries most popular sites & areas, Such as: The Golden Circle, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Lava Falls & The Ice Cave. - Access to hot tub The space The pods are instulated, have electrical radiators, mini-fridge, lights and sockets. Good bed and mattress, table, chairs and bench. WiFi is available for free in common areas. This is a sleeping bag accommodation, but a bed linen package with pillow, duvet and towel is available if guest want. One price, not pr. night. Guest access Guests have access to service house with toilets, showers, changing rooms, hot tubs (open 18-23), BBQ Grill area plus two well equipped kitchen and dining facilities (coffee machine, tea kettle, stoves, oven, microwave, fridge, dishes, glasses, cutlery etc.). For an extra charge washing machine and dryer are also available. Fossatún restaurant is on location and serves, both breakfast and dinner. Current information about opening hours can be found on Fossatún website. Other things to note Check in at Fossatún in daylight and enjoy the surrounding and facilities on offer. Northern Lights viability depends on solar activity and cloud situation. Star bright high activity=good possibilities. Weather can change fast in Iceland. All main roads are kept open through winter but can close temporarily f.e. in a sudden blizzard. Snow does not come and stay as it also rains quite a lot during winter.
