Our home is nestled in a friendly neighborhood, just steps from the plaza, church, municipal hall, and the famous Balangiga Bells. Even closer to the original site of Capt. Valeriano Abanador’s house, our local hero. The space is peaceful and private. It includes a cozy room with kitchen, entertainment area, porch and pergola The space This is an 18 sqm room (including your own attached CR), in a 70+- sqm bungalow house. It has ✅ premium bed ✅ quality bedsheet ✅ split type aircon ✅ 40 inch LG TV with Youtube & Netflix ✅ working area ✅ en suite three quarter bath (toilet, sink, overhead shower with water heater) ✅ closet ✅direct access from the outside/parking. ✅ parking (in front of the room) or in a vacant lot just across the property. We provide basic toiletries, clean towels, slippers and sheets. All furnitures are brand new. If you are traveling as a family or if you are a balik-bayan and you want to experience the weekend market again, that place is just a short walk from the property. You can use the kitchen to cook your own meals. (with additional fee)* Guests who are staying in the master’s bedroom can enjoy exclusive access to a small full kitchen, private porch featuring an outdoor sofa and a pergola with a coffee table perfect for relaxing or entertaining visitors. The small kitchen can be accessed from the porch. It is also conveniently connecting the bedroom to provide more comfort and functionality. Masters Rm guest have EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to the KITCHEN & SMALL LIVING/ENTERTAINMENT ROOM and use of furnitures, fixtures and other appliances: ☑️ kitchen With island table that doubles as dining. Full kitchen with basic cooking appliance (La Germania cooktop and range hood, Samsung 9.1 cu. ft refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, toaster and utensils). Double tub kitchen sink Pull out pantry storage Pull out 2-in-1 rotate kitchen faucet Pull out under sink trash bin (for dry trash only) ☑️ small living / entertainment area With 65” android Sony TV & JBL soundbar, JBL Party box karaoke with microphone, sofa that can sleep 2 pax, (1 sofa & 1 extra bed) The property is well lit at night and equipped with security cameras for our guests’ safety. Our location is very convenient and it’s very easy to explore around. You may find local transport, potpot or tricycle just outside the property. It’s also walking distance from the highway where you can find public transport going to / from Tacloban, Sulangan, Guiuan, Borongan and nearby towns Lawaan, Giporlos, Quinapondan and Salcedo. If you are traveling to Tacloban, you can find a public transport collecting passengers parked within the neighborhood every morning. Or we can help you look for a private transport for you. If you are looking for outdoor activities, we can arrange transportation to visit Bangon Falls or coconut picking if you are looking for an adventure. We can also arrange river boating or river fishing. Transportation fees and rentals for boats, motorcycles and incidental expenses are excluded from the room rate. For your convenience, we can also arrange Airport transfers from Daniel Romualdez Airport. Guest access The master’s room can be accessed directly from outside (parking and the porch). It has direct access also to the kitchen/living room through another door which would be open in case the guest opt for exclusive access to it.* Otherwise, the guest can have limited access to the living room and the kitchen upon request. The porch and the deck are accessible anytime. During your stay I am not in town but i can be reached through text or call. I have a sister who takes care of the property. I also have a cleaner who comes on schedule. Other things to note The house is at Barangay 2. It has 2 rooms. The 2nd room which has access at the side of the house is also available for rental. The gate is shared for the 2 rooms. Nearby towns are Lawa-an or Lawaan Giporlos and Quinapondan. Midway to Sulangan or Guiuan or Borongan if you are travelling from Tacloban.
