Scapegrace at Black Head

This unique place has a style all its own. Scapegrace at Black Head is a newly renovated Australian beachcomber, catering for large families, groups of friends, and couples looking for a getaway. Located in the village of Black Head, in the coastal area of Hallidays Point, the house covers two levels with three bedrooms upstairs and an open plan bedroom downstairs, enjoy the hot outdoor showers and relaxation pool after a long day at the multi award winning patrolled Black Head Beach. The space Scapegrace is just a 100 metre walk to Black Head Beach, and an easy walk to the amazing family run Foodworks supermarket, local cafes, bowling club and surf lifesaving club. With guest access to the garage, there is enough room to park your car or boat and the space also features 3 phase power to charge your electric car if required. Walk through the front door and you will notice the stunning vintage quarry tiles before taking off your shoes and walking up the hand crafted black butt staircase. Upstairs enjoy the large open plan air conditioned lounge and kitchen space, and if you love to cook you will fall in love with the Gagganeu cooktop, Teppanyaki hotplate, Neff integrated ovens and microwave and under bench wine fridge. The stone kitchen island seats 8 people so you can enjoy a family meal inside or head out to the back deck to enjoy outdoor dining amongst the tree tops and enjoy the view of the farm over the back fence. With three bedrooms upstairs featuring glimpses of the ocean and stunning sunrises through the norfolk island pines. There are Queen size beds in two rooms and two single beds in the third room, makes this the perfect space for a large family. Downstairs is also open plan in style with an electric fire place, TV and Queen size bed with a view over the pool and access to the garage. The house features 2 main bathrooms, one with a bath, a separate toilet and an ensuite and two hot showers to enjoy at the end of a long day at the beach. Black Head market is on the first Sunday of the month from September to May. You can meander along the rainforest walks which encompass striking coastal landforms and tracts of rainforest, a must for nature lovers and keen photographers. You may even get lucky and spot a few whales. On arrival you will instantly feel relaxed. Guest access As a guest, we want you to enjoy Scapegrace as we do ourselves with access to all the rooms and spaces in the house. Though we do have a keg fridge downstairs in the laundry this WILL NOT have beer in it unless you have access to kegs.... Other things to note To make your holiday as enjoyable as possible, we provide all the essentials you may need for your stay, this includes towels, sheets, pillows, doonas and beach towels. We also provide bathroom and kitchen essentials including soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and milk. If you do wear makeup we ask that you use the coloured makeup removing face washers provided. These are not labels but are located in the draw of each bathroom. If you love our linen as much as we do and take it home we are happy to sell this to you after check-out at market prices.
