Where else in Chicago can you chill by a propane fueled fire pit, walk 5 minutes and be at the lake, OR in the heart of Wrigley?! PRIVATE DECK - when the weather warms up longer on your own treetop private deck. For FAMILIES, besides a pack n’ play and kids dishes we also have children’s books, a wooden train set, dollhouse, and a PlayStation. We know if the kids are happy the grown ups can relax as well. BEDROOMS 1 and 2 both have Queen beds. Flannel sheets for the wintertime to keep you cozy and warm. BEDROOM 3 has a full size bed. White noise sound machines (and ear plugs) can be found in the bathroom vanity for light sleepers. Or, bring some ear plugs with you if you are heading out to a concert here in the city. An additional 2 people may sleep on an air mattress, but we do charge an extra $25 per person fee per night when more than 6 people stay at The Roost. This makes Wrigley Roost an ideal location for 6 people but can accommodate up to 8 people. Please request the Air Mattress and/or the Pack and Play prior to your arrival so we can have the bedding prepared for you. 😊 As the weather cools off, the KITCHEN here at Wrigley Roost can heat up. Wrigley Roost has a new kitchen and a brand new gas stove with electric oven. Full set of dishes, platters, serving pieces, wine glasses, beer glasses, blender, hand mixer, and crockpot available to host a full meal for family and friends. Bask in the DINING ROOM where your family can gather amongst craftsmanship unfound today. Guest access Guests share access to the backyard which has the fire pit, seating, and the hammock. Guests have full access to the top floor unit including their own private tree top deck. Other things to note SECURITY CAMERAS: Since Wrigley Roost is located in an urban area, it does have 3 EXTERIOR security cameras as an extra form of protection for our guests. There are NO INTERIOR cameras as we value your privacy. Camera 1 is a doorbell camera which will capture when individuals approach the home from Waveland. Camera 2 is located on the Unit 1 deck post and captures if anyone tries to enter the property through the back gate. Camera 3 is attached to the garage and points on to the guest parking pad in the alley. YEARLY EVENTS DISCLOSURE: Wrigley Roosters is proud to be at a key location We are close to many major events which can be for a variety of events ranging from Cubs games, concerts at Wrigley, Pride events (festivals and parades), Christmas Markets, to even the Chicago marathon only a few steps from our front door. These are amazing if you are attending, but can also cause additional noise or traffic. CUBS HOME GAMES: Please check the schedule. There will be street closures near us. You can hear the 7th inning stretch and cheers from our back deck. PRIDEFEST: 3rd Weekend in June. Dance stage is located a few doors from our house. Music stages are located throughout the festival area. Music can be heard from our home. There will be street closures near our home as well. PRIDE PARADE: Last Sunday in June. This runs just a few doors down from our home. It is one of the largest Pride events in the world. There will be street closures and additional people. MARKET DAYS: 2nd Weekend of August. This festival starts at Addison and Halsted (about a 1/2 mile from our house). Music stages are located throughout the festival area. CHICAGO MARATHON: 2nd Sunday in October.
