Automatic gates provides level access to your french doors. This charming place offers everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. From a premium mattress, high thread count sheets, duck down and feather pillows, Euro pillows for sitting up to read or watch movies on your laptop - your comfort is our priority. A lavazza coffee pod machine with pods along with Twining teas and snacks are supplied. The bathroom features a large walkin shower for two and luxe towels and toiletries. The space The white picket fence and colonial house with an old fashioned rose arbor is the setting for your air bnb get away. Walk down the path, or drive through the secure gates and your getaway is through french doors on the left. Everything you need for a wonderful break is right at your fingertips. Cafes, bars, cinemas are all nearby and the Apollo Road ferry is literally around the corner (not even 5 minutes away). That ferry will take you to all stops up to the University of Queensland and includes the wonderful Southbank Entertainment Precinct and Cultural Centre (just to name 2!). Cross the bridges and wander through Brisbane City and catch another ferry to New Farm Park and take in a show at the Powerhouse Gallery. You can also just catch the ferry to Bulimba Ferry stop (just two stops away upstream) and wander down Oxford Street, taking in the many shops, bars and restaurants. Buses are also just around the corner (again quite literally!) and in a blink you can travel to the city, to shops at Cannon Hill Plaza for K-Mart (who doesn't love K-Mart!) and further afield to a large Westfield complex at Carindale. Walking around Bulimba is also a beautiful experience, there are maps in your room that will take you along the waterfront past the local mangroves and golf club and you can walk along Quay Street and admire some of the lovely homes. In fact, there are gorgeous walks all along past the Bulimba Ferry, so you might like to just keep on walking!! Guest access We would like our guest to enjoy the suite that we have prepared for them, along with the front gardens. There is a table and two chairs which is perfect for dining at - just outside the french doors. Eating is not encouraged inside as we find that spills can happen. Smells also tend to linger. There is a comfortable bench seat that is great to sit on at the end of a long days "touristing". Enjoy a wine or beer or cup of tea and put your feet up! During your stay If there are any special dietary requirements that you have - i.e. lactose free milk, gluten free snacks - please let me know. Other things to note Please let us know if you run out of any supplies in your room during your stay - we are busy people, but never too busy to look after our guests! You are our first priority!
