In a villa area overlooking Lake Ashi, Torii, and Mt. Fuji, we relocated a traditional Iwate-style house from the Edo period to a modern style.
Description
◆ This is ZEKKEI (a superb view), an old house in Iwate from the Edo period. Around 1995, I became interested in old private houses, and every time I was on vacation, I started looking at them from Ogawa Daiku to Kesennuma Daiku. Then, in 2000, I found an old house in Iwate that was built by Kesennuma carpenters in the late Edo period, and relocated it to Hakone, a national park in Kanagawa Prefecture. I want you to see this wonderful "ancient Japanese house" that is like a jewelry box in a quiet place to your heart's content. ● Please bring your own food and drinks. The kitchen is shared with the owner. ● However, it should be fun to be with the owner of this old house. ● Well, I don't think there are many places in Japan where you can learn so much about the history of the old private house and the mountain garden of Hakone. This is the cultural value of Japan, the old private house in Hakone built by Kesennuma carpenters. I have lived in Hakone, Hakone Town for 20 years. ● I recently started a private lodging to enjoy the wonderful scenery here. ● Hakone, Hakone Town. Thank you. The space This old private house is located in a quiet villa district in Hakone, Hakone-machi, Hakone National Park. The area is known for its particularly rare views of Mt. Fuji, views of Lake Ashi from a high position, and the torii gate of Hakone Shrine. And this house is in a special place where the villas begin, even in this villa district, and it is a road that is easy to find even though the tourist cars are right in front of you. We built an old house there. It starts from the curve of the confluence of the famous National Route 1 and the 732 Hakone Old Highway, which is famous for the Hakone Ekiden. That's the Donkin Road in the Sakasa Fuji district. It is truly Hakone, Hakone, Hakone. (Donkin means no guns) In addition, at the entrance of this house, there is a separate "secluded private road at 790 m above sea level that secretly waits for your return" and leads to a hideaway away from the hustle and bustle. From the approximately 1,000-tsubo site, you can see Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi Hakone Shrine, and the sound of the bell can be heard. ■ Historic old house: This old house was relocated from Iwate Prefecture in the late Edo period, and you can feel the history and tradition of Japan. ■ Scenic location: Enjoy breathtaking views of Mt.
