Private room in quiet, central home

Welcome to our home! We live on a quite dead end street with friendly neighbors and very little traffic. We're located near all 3 local hospitals, military bases, highways, and a plethora of shopping and dining options. This is a great jumping off point for medical appointments, military matters or vacations! The space Your private bedroom features a brand new, fully encased hybrid gel mattress, blackout shades and curtains for a restful night's sleep, and a walk-in closet for your convenience. A small workspace is available for those who need to catch up on work or unwind with a good book, and you'll have access to your own small private balcony, where you can enjoy a breath of fresh air and soak in the beautiful sunrises over the mountains. The adjacent restroom is exclusively for guest use and comes stocked with fresh towels, hand soap and lotion. *Please note we have TWO guest rooms, so you may end up sharing the restroom with another guest* Shared Living Spaces: You're welcome to make yourself at home in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Additionally, the newer LG 14-cycle laundry units are clean and free to use at your convenience, and are located upstairs near your personal space. We typically keep unscented laundry soap on hand although you're welcome to bring your own. Additional Features: A friendly cat shares our home, so please be mindful if you have allergies. Late check in? We can usually accommodate, but please let us know ahead of time! We take pride in offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we're excited to share our home with you. Whether you're here for business or leisure, our goal is to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Guest access Shared kitchen, living room, dining room and half bath downstairs, as well as personal bedroom, guest-only bathroom and shared laundry upstairs. During your stay I love hosting and giving ideas for your perfect vacation! I travel alone a lot both for work and for fun, and I used to be a tour guide here in Alaska so I have a lot of knowledge in that area. However, if you prefer to be left completely alone, that is perfectly fine with me as well. Our home is easy to navigate and very quiet and peaceful. Please note that Toby, the cat, may (will) visit you if you leave your bedroom door open. He is ridiculously friendly and interactive, but sleeps quietly through the night and is not generally disruptive. Other things to note No pets, please, we have a very friendly but very territorial cat! No smoking is allowed on the property. No parties or events are permitted. Kindly remove your shoes inside the home to maintain cleanliness. This room is only accessible by stairs; there are no additional accessibility features for this listing.
