Room at the "Holunder" in a stylish guest house

Relax or work in the rural seclusion of the Entlebuch – in our "thinking room" both are possible: guests looking for a special workspace, an oasis of creativity beyond the hustle and bustle of everyday life or guests who want to indulge in idleness or discover the extensive and diverse nature of the UNESCO biosphere reserve - with us everyone is in good hands. The space The historic house is located in the village of Entlebuch. The train station is a 10-minute walk away. On the 2nd floor we offer a total of 3 individually furnished guest rooms. The 2 bathrooms (bathtub + washbasin / shower + lavabo + toilet) and the separate toilet in the arcade on the same floor are shared with the other guests. The room to the "Holunder" is a spacious guest room (19 m2) with double bed (160 × 200 cm) On the ground floor, our guests have 4 more rooms at their disposal: a cozy salon with adjoining library, a music room with piano, which can also be used as a meeting or study room, and a dining room, where we serve a rich breakfast with homemade and local products. Please note that the kitchen is private and is not available to guests. Guest access A spacious and well-kept outdoor area invites you to relax and linger. During your stay As hosts, we are happy to answer any questions and concerns our guests may have. Each guest is personally welcomed and said goodbye to by us. We appreciate the encounters and the exchange with our guests, but always behave discreetly and leave them enough space. We live on the 2nd floor and are therefore always easily accessible on site. Other things to note The house is suitable for couples, small groups as well as for solo travelers who like a historic old country house and know how to treat the stylish furnishings with mindfulness and care. The house is audible, the floorboards creak and the doors do not always fall silently into the lock. All the more we appreciate considerate guests. The floors are made of wood, which is why we recommend slippers. They protect your feet from the cold and our wooden floors from dirt.
