The Anchorage Bed & Breakfast

B&B Use Permit No. BB 23-1 The Anchorage is a late Federal Telescopic Tidewater Style B&B circa 1800 facing the Choptank River. It's a waterfront property with gorgeous views of the water and a private beach. Special March Rates!! There are also other rooms available if traveling with other people. We are located right outside the historical town of Trappe very close to Easton, Oxford, Cambridge, and St. Michaels. Rooms include a daily continental breakfast. The space The Sequoia Suite features a water view via a large picture window, a comfortable King Size bed, wi-fi, TV with Netflix, and a private bathroom with a walk in shower which has been freshly painted and modernized. There are also two single beds in the adjoining room with a desk. Both rooms share the newly painted bathroom. Linens and towels as well as soap and toilet paper are provided. PLEASE NOTE: The Sequoia Suite is located on the 2nd level with a steep and fairly narrow set of stairs - it does have handrails. There is over 12 Acres to explore including a 500 foot beach with fabulous sunsets! There are plenty of attractions, events, crabbing, fishing, golfing, birding, local brewery and wine bars, restaurants as well as charter fishing, sailing, and kayaking. We are happy to recommend things to do or see while you are here. Guest access You will have access to the entire property outside and of course the beach. Please bring water shoes for the beach as we often find items washed up on the shore, some of them sharp. Breakfast will be served in the dining room or on the patio. - Complimentary breakfast is served in the dining room or outside weather permitting (can accommodate special diet needs) - Hot tub available but is seasonal (October - March) - Pool available but is seasonal (May - September) - Use of lounge chairs at our private beach - Hammocks - Use of Kayaks for no extra fee. Lifejackets and paddles included. - Can arrange Bike rental delivery for a small fee - Can arrange a group bike tour in the local area for an extra fee, please inquire - Can arrange a group or individual kayak tour for an extra fee, please inquire During your stay We are respectful of your privacy but please call or text us if you need anything even if it's after hours - or if you see us outside please feel free to chat - we want every experience to be a positive. If you have any special requests, please let us know. Other things to note Early check-in will be considered and granted depending on the ability to properly clean and set up the property in between guests. Security Deposit: The security deposit of $200.00 will automatically be returned 48 hours after check-out. The cost of damages, additional cleaning fees due to excess mess, lost Keys, and missing items from the room will be deducted from the security deposit via an Airbnb claim within 48 hours of check-out. Room Rates are based on Double Occupancy but we can accomodate up to 4 people in the suite. Additional guest fees may apply.
