Other things to note Important Cleaning Fee and Utilities Information for Long-Term Stays If you would like cleaning services during your stay, it will be an additional charge of R350 for a clean and R150 for a linen change. To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for all our guests, we kindly inform you of the following cleaning fee policy for extended stays: Stays exceeding 21 days: An additional mandatory cleaning fee of R400 will be charged. A mid-stay clean will be provided to ensure your comfort. Stays exceeding 45 days: An additional R400 cleaning fee will be charged every 21 days. For example, a 60-day stay will incur two additional cleaning fees. Please note that the initial cleaning fee is already included in your reservation total. This additional fee is to cover the increased cleaning costs associated with longer stays. Thank you for understanding. Electricity Usage Disclaimer: Electricity is included for stays of 19 nights or less. For stays exceeding 19 nights, a monthly electricity allowance is provided. If your usage exceeds this allowance, you will be responsible for the additional costs. To avoid unexpected charges, please notify the property manager when the prepaid meter indicates low electricity. We will then arrange to recharge the meter. This unit operates on a prepaid electricity system. Please monitor your usage (The meter is located in the electrical box). A beeping sound indicates low balance (approx. 3 days remaining). Contact us immediately upon hearing this to avoid disruptions. You're welcome to check your balance with us before it beeps and notify us of the balance, but the beeping usually starts around 31 kWh. Prompt notification allows us time to reload. *The monthly allowance is calculated based on the average daily electricity consumption for a property of this size (10.5 kWh/day). While it’s unlikely you will exceed this allowance, in the rare event of excessive usage, you will be charged for the overage. This charge will be collected via an Airbnb payment request.
