The space This spacious and well-lit four-room apartment (97 square metres) serves as an exquisite gallery and is situated in the heart of Kaunas, in the Naujamiestis district. The house was designed by the renowned Lithuanian architect, Dr. S. Kudokas, who expertly blended form, function, and ornamentation. Built in 1933, Dr. Kudokas’s house features art deco elements that grace both the interior and exterior of the building. This apartment stands as an exemplary representation of Kaunas’ modernist architectural style and has earned the prestigious UNESCO Heritage Label due to its harmonious fusion of modernist utility and art deco aesthetics. The apartment is situated on the fourth floor (please note that in Lithuania, ground floor is called the first floor) of a building. The building’s staircase has not been renovated, and there is no elevator. Free parking is available in the courtyard, accessible via barrier gates.
