The Shepherds Hut

Nestled in the heart of our picturesque working farm, the hut offers a perfect blend of rustic simplicity and modern comfort for two. Wake up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves and watch the sun dip below the horizon with views of the countryside. We also offer a complimentary farm walk on request which gives a stunning panoramic view. The space Our Shepherd’s Hut is the full glamping experience. Enjoy the comfort and simplicity of our tiny home, and fire up the grill for your outdoor dining experience. Small bathroom which consists of a shower, small basin and composting toilet. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and kitchenette with gas fridge. There is limited cell phone coverage and no Wifi available. Tiny home 6 x 2.5 metres. Outdoor Cooking Charging port in the hut. Guest access When dry, you are able to drive through the farm to the site. When wet, you will be able to park off road and be driven to the site by a host. Other things to note Although off the gird, there’s still plenty to do. Our farm stay is situated 20 minutes from Riversdale Beach (beach walks, beach store, swimming, coffee, fish and chips, golf club, tennis courts) and 25 minutes from Castlepoint beach (lighthouse walk, beach store, swimming, surfing, coffee, fish and chips. There is dinning at the Whakataki & Tinui Hotel's with the rural vibe. We offer a complimentary farm walk on request. But there are other walks available in the area.
