Kick back and relax in this calm space on the edge of the mountain pastures. With its breathtaking views of the Aiguilles d'Arves and the surrounding mountains, its amenities and comfort, the Quartz apartment is ideal for recharging your batteries. Close to many winter sports resorts and legendary Tour de France passes, its location at 1415 meters above sea level will delight hiking, nature and outdoor sports enthusiasts. The space The Quartz apartment is independent and located on the ground floor of the chalet, it faces south and measures 65 m2. The entrance is through the living room open to the living room and the equipped kitchen. It consists of a master bedroom with queen size bed that opens directly onto the garden, and a comfortable mountain corner with two bunk beds. The wood-burning stove is located in the center of the apartment and will allow you to spend warm evenings during the coldest moments of winter. The use of the piano and stove are your responsibility and in good use. We will provide the firewood. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor table, a ping-pong table in good weather, a shared garden. We leave it to you to maintain the apartment and leave it as you found it. If you don't want to worry about cleaning, we can take care of it for a fee. We will be able to advise you on discovery routes, and can possibly lend certain equipment (sleds, snowshoes, raclette or fondue sets). Guest access You will have exclusive access to the apartment located on the ground floor of the house and on the flat land near the table, the rest of the garden is shared. You can park two vehicles on the flat land right next to the house. The road is cleared of snow as soon as necessary. Other things to note Away from the hustle and bustle of the high-altitude resorts, the environment of this apartment is exceptional in many ways (view, fauna, flora) and allows you to take many walks or hikes of all levels from the house. Each season has its activities: hiking, mountain biking and cycling in the summer season; snowshoeing, sledding and cross-country skiing during the winter. Many winter sports resorts are reachable in less than 45 minutes by road: The Sybelles area (4th largest ski area in France) by the Bottières lifts (10 min) or by the Toussuire resort (20 min), Val Thorens and the 3 Vallées area by the Orelle cable car (40 min), Les Karellis, Valmeinier, Valloire, La Norma, St-François-Longchamp, and... as well as the whole of Haute Maurienne. Two restaurants are close to the apartment: the Chalet de la Tuvière which offers aperitifs, Nordic baths and dinners by reservation (300 m), and the Chamb'ô snack bar located in a high-altitude and timeless hamlet (1.5 km). Other shops (bakery, tobacco, newspapers) and supermarkets are located in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (20 min), so we recommend that you do your shopping before going up to the apartment. A large fridge and freezer will allow you to build up the stock necessary for your stay. 200Mbps Fiber allows you a fast connection. The large HD screen TV promises movie nights by the fireplace via the Molotov app. Board games and books are also available. We remind you that chains or snow equipment are mandatory from November 1 to April 1. The access is regularly cleared of snow. This accommodation is located on the edge of a natural site, the fauna and flora are abundant (marmots, birds of prey, squirrels, foxes, insects, lizards, etc.), please respect these discreet neighbors.
