Oceanfront house (about 3,500sq.ft) located in a private, gated community with access to private beach in Dorado, Puerto Rico. The house has 43 five star reviews in a competitor renting website (v.r.b.o348343) You can sit back and enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean from either the downstairs terrace or the 2nd floor wood deck. All bedrooms (5) and bathrooms (4) have been refurbished in 2018. Brand new kitchen refurbished in September 2022!!!New AC in living and dining room… The space The house's real name is "A Peace of Heaven" as Its a unique house in front of the ocean , where you can feel and hear the ocean, you can watch the oystercatchers feed on the sea urchins on the rocks and watch the pelicans as they fly over the terrace--you really feel like you are in a cruise-ship without the movement. The downstairs is open floor plan with a full NEW equipped kitchen , dining room table (sits 8-10), sofas, bar area all with air conditioning. Covered terrace with dining tables and the deck area with chairs , sofa and a barbecue. Also in the first floor is the Master Bedroom (the Pelican Suite) with a king bed, small sofa bed, TV , desk and on suite bathroom (recently remodeled in 2018). We also have an outside bathroom and an outdoor shower. All bedrooms have A/C. Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms, a family room with TV and sofa bed (with A/C) and a deck with a brand new glass veranda. The bedrooms are as follows; the Sea Shell suite has a king bed and ensuite shower ( the shower is unique as it is roofless) and a private balcony with view of the beach; the SeaHorse Suite has a queen bed and 2 twin beds ( day bed) and ensuite bathroom with shower- the room also has a door to the wood deck; the Coral l Suite has a queen bed and a door to the wood deck; the Driftwood Suite has a king bed. The Coral and Driftwood Suite share the bathroom. However, the bathroom has 2 separate vanities so each couple have their own sink area. I also have a , kayak, snorkeling equipment, sand toys, and floats for the guest. We have parking space for 3 cars. The house also comes with a generator for any possible electrical outage in the area. Diane always made herself available for any question we had prior to our arrival. Once there, we were greeted by her friend, Debbie. Debbie was amazing with guiding us through the house and answered questions about local restaurants and acitivities. Diane's beach house had every amenity one could ask for. We really felt like we were at home. There is so much attention to detail, it did not go unnoticed. The house was VERY spacious and every bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Diane also had beach chairs, life vests, a boogie board, a cooler and kayaks! We visited a number of local beaches so having the chairs and cooler were perfect!! The home is situated on the beach, so you could hear the ocean throughout the day. Quite peaceful actually. Diane prepared a book with restaurants and excursion information. Which was quite helpful. The beach was literally steps away. We took advantage of the kayaks and used them there. There were other locals there who were very welcoming. In fact everyone joined in on tossing a football around. The main terrace was the perfect area for us to get together for late night talks. Two of the bedrooms upstairs had terraces. Perfect to catch the morning sunrise and evening sunsets. True paradise! Overall, we had an awesome time and none of us wanted to leave! Another review "I can't say enough wonderful things about this property and the property owner Diane. The views from the deck are spectacular. The downstairs is an open floor plan with comfortable seating for all. The extra refrigerator in the bar area was a bonus for keeping drinks and ice cold. The sliding glass doors that open to the deck was indoor/outdoor living perfection. The beds were extremely comfortable and I still miss my good night sleeps listening to the ocean waves crashing. The beach area is just a stairway down from the driveway. Diane had beach chairs, ample beach towels, sand toys, snorkeling gear, AND kayaks and a paddle board that were perfect at the beach. We travelled with our 3 children ages 9, 13, 15, as well as additional family. The kids were so entertained at the beach with all the toys they had to use. Even my 9 year old could spend the afternoon kayaking in the inlet at the beach. We've been home for a few weeks now and we still can't stop talking about what a perfect location, perfect home and perfect vacation we had in Puerto Rico. Other things to note The Brena Beach is one of a few private beaches in Puerto Rico. The advantage is that it never gets crowded. Its great for swimming and has a beautiful reef to discover while snorkeling. I love to paddle-board in Brenas.
