You want to relax on vacation or explore the surroundings = Here both are possible. In the recreational area of Tannenhausen lies our bathing lake, which has been rated the most beautiful and cleanest bathing lake in East Frisia. The private sandy beach is right outside the door of our vacation home. At the lake, pedal boats, canoes, beach chairs, beach loungers and bicycles with accessories can be rented. And your physical well-being is also taken care of. Since summer 2016 there has also been a water ski/wakeboard facility. Not far away, the city of Aurich (about 6 km) invites you to a city stroll and many other leisure activities such as the adventure pool De Baalje and the climbing forest. It is not far to the North Sea coast with its beautiful islands. From Tannenhausen to Norddeich, to the ferry Juist and Norderney, or Emden, to the ferry Borkum, it is about 35 km.
